Mary’s Retreat is a wonderful “home away from home” for exploring the beautiful Finger Lakes region. The house is comfortable, spotless, and welcoming. We enjoyed visiting local wineries, restaurants, and parks, as well as relaxing on the porch with our dogs. We would definitely love to return again.

We were very comfortable at this cozy cottage. This is an older home and not at all fancy, but is kept in excellent condition. The furnishings were comfortable. The hosts made every effort to have every needed or wanted item available. From luggage racks, to extra bedding and blankets, to plentiful towels, an array of chargers, books, games... you can tell they have considered the comfort of guests. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, cooking pots and pans, small appliances, linens, storage containers. The farmhouse sink and detachable spray faucet was a nice update. The beds were very comfortable and it was so quiet! I loved how the personality of the hosts filled the house. So much so that before I read their biographies on Airbnb, I had already made some completely accurate guesses as to who they are and their interests. The feel of the home was like visiting my Aunt in her farmhouse when I was a child. Comfortable, hospitable, and practical.

Myself, my boyfriend, & our 2 friends that are also a couple stayed here. Genevieve is a thoughtful and responsive host. We stayed at Gigi's place in winter. We were pleased with the ample blankets & towels available. Her place is clean and tidy as well. We found the extra ammentities e.g. coffee, tea, baked goods, and wine incredibly thoughtful. There were pots and pans and seasonings to cook with which came in handy. You never have to worry about cold water here either! There were plenty of power strips around the home if you needed them. We loved all the nostalgic games in what we considered the kid's room, very fun! Would book again!

This quaint tiny home in Lodi is a great place to stay when visiting the wine trails and state parks surrounding Seneca and Cayuga Lakes. There are plenty of great restaurants and ice cream stands in the area. Emma Lou was a great host. She reached out to be sure our check in went smooth. She was easily available at all times. The OWL was a perfect fit for myself, my husband and our fur baby. It had everything we needed…comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it as a home base while visiting the area. Pat and Donna Mahoney
