Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Rome

This review is long overdue, but Evelyn's Cottage was amazing. Originally started out as a business trip, but turned into a mini family vacation on my birthday. Christine is great. Great communicator, accomodated my VERY blended family. Being from South Carolina, this place felt like home. I would definelty recommend this place for anyone trying to get away from the hustle and bustle and to a charming antinque cottage on a farm. 5 stars for accomodations, cleanliness, responsivness and southern hospitality. Thanks Christine! Look forward to seeing you again.

House was amazing and felt right at home! Very clean and easy access to everything in town! We would definitely stay there again :-)

Great stay, and Anastasia was very kind and accommodating. The place is so cute - great decor, so clean. Very welcoming. It’s located at the entrance to a quiet neighborhood, but you definitely get noise from the main road - cars revving their engines at night and occasional sirens. It was only a minor detraction from the overall experience though. We would definitely stay again.

It is a beautiful relaxing place! I will definitely suggest for others. Hope to be back soon.

Great location and host! The entire house is beautiful and relaxing. while you have the peace of mind of being in a neighborhood, you also have privacy. Our dogs enjoyed the backyard and local parks in the area. Lots of activities nearby, restaurants, shopping and so much more.

Wonderful accommodations and they were so responsive and accommodating. We would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

Very accommodating and beautiful home perfect for a long or short term stay!

Four of us stayed here to attend a wedding at Indigo Falls. We loved the setting being on a vineyard and a short drive to the wedding. The photos on the Airbnb listing accurately reflect what the place looks like. It is spacious and very clean. The kitchen has everything you might need if you plan to cook. We enjoyed one lunch at the vineyard's tasting room, and I can highly recommend the orchard melt sandwich. Not sure I will need housing in this area again, but if I do I will look to book another stay here.

This was the perfect stay! The home was well appointed, and all the “community” amenities kept us busy! We really felt like we were at a resort when laying by the pool overlooking the lake. I highly recommend Magnolia Overlook. There was even a wedding at the beautiful “Main House” and we would have been none the wiser if Dave hadn’t given a heads up, they were very respectful! We will be back.

Absolutely loved our overnight with Audrey! Our dogs were so comfortable there. I love that there are dog bowls there because I had accidentally forgotten our travel water bowl! So it was a super nice touch. I did see another review talk about the stairs and I will say that I agree if you have an elderly dog (or person, haha) that you aren’t able to easily assist up the stairs, it might be difficult for them. Luckily, our only old man is our toy poodle, so we just carried him and it was fine. The other dogs took the steps like a champ and thoroughly enjoyed the “sniffari” of the yard! Would definitely stay with Audrey again!! Beautiful neighborhood and lovely views!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Frog Pond Hollow even though the snow storm resulted in losing power for a day and we had to stay an extra day because of ice on the roads. Drew and Brianna were very understanding and concerned for our safety. They were great hosts! They responded quickly to messages and were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be bringing more firewood, a hatchet, and more wine if I ever take a trip to see the snow again. Thank goodness there is plenty to entertain you at Frog Pond if you don’t have power.

The place was charming and equipped with everything that you need. We liked the location, and it was very peaceful and homely. We strongly recommend the place. We will stay here again if we are in the area again. Thank you, Cindy!

I CANNOT say enough great things about this rental and host! They have gone above and beyond with extra touches. The place is pristine! We have our 4 adult children with us and had the best weekend. Hiking, kayaking, wineries, night time fires and games! It was just what we needed to rest and recharge! We are already organizing when we can book another weekend! Don’t hesitate to book this!

We stayed in this beautiful home for the last 4 days. Our stay was simply wonderful! The home is very pretty and also very warm and inviting. When entering the home, you walk in to a open floor plan. The decor feels very farmhouse country. This is my favorite style! Beds were great we all slept so well. Each Bedroom (3) had it's own bathroom which is nice. I can't describe the beauty of being up high in the mountain. All of the sights and sounds are stunning. this home has a huge fenced yard! our Goldendoodle loved every minute. We also let her on the upper deck too. She loved this as well. We had a few small glitches. Lave handled them with ease and in a very acceptable time. If it has been wet up there, the drive is a tad tricky if your not used to mountain driving. The bedrooms are a wonderful size, our dog was in her absolutely in her "happy place " We would absolutely stay here again!

Rocky's place was absolutely amazing! We loved the pool and hot tub and the house itself was perfect for our trip!

The stay was absolutely lovely, private quiet and lots of space! Morgan the host was extremely accommodating felt like we were home!

I had the pleasure of staying at Anja & Ingo’s home over the weekend. They were excellent hosts and reached out to me several times to ensure everything was up to my expectations or if I needed anything. The home itself was beautiful, cozy, and had all the amenities needed to make me feel comfortable. In the future if I’m ever in the area I would definitely book with them again or recommend them to my family and friends. Thank you once again Anja & Ingo!

The bus stop was such a fun little getaway for our family! Very relaxing and peaceful! We ventured out and hiked to see a few waterfalls in the area. Little River Canyon and DeSoto Falls are close by and definitely worth checking out. After a day full of hiking, we enjoyed coming back to the bus and piling up to watch a movie. There was a great collection of movies to choose from! The hosts were great and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to come visit again!

Joseph and Angie was very responsive and all his animals are very friendly. Our plan is to spend some time with animals and stay away from city life. This place fulfilled our expectation. The house is little old and bathroom doors needs some attention. Other than that, we loved the stay no regrets. Joseph gave additional hours at checkout and this was the first Airbnb who gave check-in early too. They were very generous providing all needful kitchen supplies and grocery, even though we didn't cook much. I will definitely recommend this place for anyone who want to have a secluded and silent environment with farm animals. Their Dogs are so sweet and friendly stayed all time in front of our door and walked with us inside the farm any time. Thanks to Joesph and Angie once again!

The home is very convenient to all things Mentone. So nice that there are two suites! We grilled one night and most nights enjoyed a relaxing fire in the screened porch fireplace. Kitchen is very workable for cooking full meals and wifi, TV and setting are great. Our dogs were able to run off lead as the home is about 1000' off the main road on a small lane. Loved the cabin feel and that there were bathtubs! You must see Little River Falls - take water shoes & play in the mountain water!

My family and I enjoyed our weekend stay here for my wedding! It was so charming, had enough space for us all to spread out and not be on top of each other and plenty of games to keep the little ones entertained! We would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area!
