We were lucky with a sunny and dry day to discover the area. However, the house itself is excellent to be able to entertain you inside, should the weather be bad. Everything you need is available. Julie and Torbjørn are super nice people. We had a nice chat with them.

our stay was MAGICAL!! every day my partner and i were in disbelief at how beautiful the surroundings were— everywhere you looked there were waterfalls, gorgeous forest, and of course the beautiful fjord and full view of Hornelen! you won’t believe it until you see for yourself. the house was spectacular and so cozy and felt like a fairytale—it was a dream house! we cooked easily every day, slept in the comfiest bed ever (truly), and enjoyed the most breathtaking view of the fjord. finally, Gunnhild was the person that made our trip so special. we had such a warm welcome from her, she was so responsive and friendly and helpful, and she even brought us delicious cinnamon buns twice! we will never forget her kindness and hospitality and hope to return to Lofnes many times in the future to stay here!

The house is located in an exceptional setting. We were very generously hosted by Lars who we thank very much for his responsiveness and hospitality. We were able to enjoy the pool table, boat and hot tub. Everything was perfect! The nearby shops are also a real plus. We hope to be back, as we had a time out. Thanks for everything!

Cozy family trip with three generations. We had a great few days at the cabin and the host was very helpful in every way. There is a lot of space inside and outside. Definitely recommended. Minus was maybe that it was very cold in the loft when we arrived, but it worked out when we got fired up properly and got up the temperature in the cabin. The wood-burning stove in the living room was very exposed when we brought a trust of 1.5 years, but it worked out when we were able to borrow a gate from nice cabin neighbors. Super and practical cabin to be at, would love to come back here.

As nice as always! We've stayed here several times for work, and it's been great every time. The apartment is clean, comfortable and has everything we need. Einar is a great host – always helpful and very quick to respond. Would highly recommend!

We have stayed with Margareth and Jarle several times and it is simply the most beautiful place. The view and location provide peace of mind and the apartment is always spotless. Also recommend a visit by Mrs Inga for lovely buns and more! We will be back!

The apartment is good and quiet location. You have a shopping opportunity, reachable in about 3 minutes driving. The kitchen is generously furnished and offers incentive to cook for yourself. But there are not many other options. 😀 Only the bedroom was a little small + a bunk bed. But you should spend more time in nature anyway than in the apartment. Bays/beach and the meteor station in the immediate drive/walking distance. All in all absolutely recommended, but more for people who like it quiet.
