Her har generationer boet og opdyrket et hede-landskab, der nu står som agerjord og skov. I dag er gården beboet af Eva og Niels, papegøjerne, hundene, de islandske heste, hønsene og kattene Alicia og Matrosky. Naturen omkring gården inviterer til gode gå- og rideture. Haven er et godt sted for børn, med god plads til leg på gynger, basketball og trampolin. Gården er økologisk.

Gæster har adgang til hele boligen privat overdækket terrasse, parkering og en lukket indhegnet have. Huset har en perfekt central beliggenhed til udflugter i det sydlige Danmark. Ruggård er en gammel bondegård, som ligger på kanten af Vejle Ådal kun 18 km fra Kolding, Vejle og Billund (Legoland). Du har her det optimale udgangspunkt for ture i den smukkeste danske natur. Området byder på vandrestier og cykel- og rideruter. Her er mange udflugtsmuligheder, men afsæt også tid til ophold på gården. Børn ELSKER at være her. Her prioriteres ude-livet og derfor er der ikke TV i boligen (forældre takker os) Kom og oplev den landlige idyl og ro og hils på gårdens dyr.
