Monthly Rentals in Rocklands Reservoir

Such a beautiful eco home with the most gorgeous of vistas. Waking up each morning to the beautiful views are worth the trip alone. The house has been built so thoughtfully and remains temperate and comfortable no matter the weather. Instantly feeling at home in the plush couch and comfy bed. It was a serene getaway for my pooch and myself to read and get some R&R. We didn’t get to explore the surrounds as we were snug where we were, but there was a whole book full of maps and ideas from Janet. So sad to see the fires rip through such a beautiful region and the scars remain but feels like a blessing to see this house and gardens still standing. Thank you for having us.

Rocklands Retreat is such a gorgeous place! We booked the Cherrypool cottage and it was beautiful! The surroundings were beautiful and walkable. We enjoyed seeing animals in the surroundings. Our cottage didn’t have any salt so I messaged Johanna who was so lovely and brought over salt for us which was very much appreciated! Turns out we ended up booking the cottage my in-laws had stayed at years ago so it was especially lovely for them to revisit those memories. I would definitely book again!

Lovely stay at Heathers place. The house is in a tranquil location with amazing views. Really nice to sit and watch the sunset on the balcony watching the kangaroos in the paddock. Very peaceful location. No noise at all. Air con worked really well. Fireplace there if needed in the cold weather. Heather was very responsive throughout the booking process and during our stay. She provided great recommendations in advance. The are Nice cafes and restaurants in Dunkeld including the Parker Project which I recommend. Thanks for a lovely stay Heather.

Our second stay at this well appointed, comfortable and private place. We enjoyed sitting on the verandah listening to and watching the birds and exploring the tracks during the day and on night walks (owlet nightjars and sugar gliders were observed). We hope they get some good rain in the area real soon.
