Had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to go back. This ended up being super close to my family and helped make my trip out so much better. Lisa was super nice and very quick to respond to questions. Everything was as described and the instructions and note were really helpful in getting me setup. I slept super comfy and felt right at home. I will definitely try to book this again the next time I’m out.

Kate’s place is a charming studio with everything you need for a comfortable stay. She and her co-host are quick to respond to anything and both very kind! I advise having a car if you stay here, as the home is in a residential area; however, you could probably walk to the downtown area in about 20 minutes. Also, the Bagel Cafe is barely a 10-minute walk and totally worth it. I would stay here again.

My husband and I enjoyed a very peaceful 3 night stay. The space was exactly as described, and was very cozy. We would definitely stay again. Bonus tip: the seafood at Ray’s Seafood Restaurant was fantastic (large portions) and only about a 4 minute drive from Ian’s place.

I can’t say enough good things about this awesome weekend retreat space for me and my husband for Valentine’s Day! We were a bit wary because we knew a snowstorm was coming but Kristen was super proactive, made sure that we had a clean & shoveled path to the door, well marked place to park and a warm cozy home to walk into in the middle of a storm! She thought of everything: snacks, drinks, bottled water, coffee stand with a Keurig including K pods for every taste, including flavored and decaf, sugar, creamers, and honey. Would definitely love to come back when it’s warmer and enjoy sitting in the Adirondack chairs by the water and check out the bridge. This place is a 5 to 10 minute walk to at least 10 excellent restaurants and quaint shops and ideally located .This is, by far, one of the best Airbnb adventures we have enjoyed in the past several years.

We had an amazing time here! Mark and Meredith were awesome hosts and Mark was kind to greet us when we arrived. The location is hidden and peaceful which made our stay restful and a great area for our dogs! Loved the dog friendly environment and check in/ check out was easy. The place was nice and clean when we entered and had thoughtful amenities and a great recommendation sheet. It is about 15 minutes away from the town of Kittery and most things but it provides a get away from the tourist traffic which is great. 10/10 recommend staying here!

What a lovely place to stay! Grand Central is comfortable, cozy, and has everything you need. Michelle and Wayne are such friendly, kind, and accommodating hosts too. We were in the area on what should have been a short business trip, and then Hurricane Helene hit at home. We booked our stay last minute so we could have a place to stay and work while recovery efforts were ongoing at home — and ended up with a fabulous extra week in a beautiful place with plenty to see and do. Thank you Michelle and Wayne for hosting us!

My wife and I can't express how blessed we were to be able to stay at the home of Cameron and Celina. We were on our honeymoon and it really was the perfect place, location and jumping point to site see the local jonts. We have met a new life long friend we believe and hope. Celina was highly attune to what we were there for and made it special for us. She even prepared a fire pit for my new bride at dusk, overlooking the river toward Portsmouth. She gave us excellent local sites to see, especially Mt Agameticus in York. I wanted my wife to experience the full flavor of the northeast and Celina made that happen. My wife was in awe of her first experience here. The location is fantastic, super clean, all details were covered, peaceful and we were happy there wasn't a TV in the room. Internet was strong, nice music and seriously it was the best experience. Those of you thinking of reading this review, seriously, it's very worth the experience. Juan n Selena

Exceptional communication, amazing location (short distance from Route 95, yet with a delightful 'in the woods near the beach' feel), great recommendations for local eateries (the Throwback Brewery offers amazing brews and delicious farm-to-table eats!), delightfully cozy room with excellent amenities, and an extremely flexible host (I stayed during a freezing rain event, with no idea if I'd be able to make it to my destination in Maine the next day, and Stefania was totally open to a late check out, or another night's stay, if need be). 10 out of 5 stars - I hope my travels bring me back this way in the future so I can stay with Stefania again!

I have to say, Sue and Jon were fantastic hosts - we really appreciated welcome basket of snacks and water and we really appreciated the toiletries in the bathroom as well! I loved how they had a basket of pamphlets and a list of local restaurants and cafes etc. the room was charming and cozy just as described! Would definitely recommend to all friends and family who are thinking of visiting NH. The place was SPOTLESS on top of it all. Thanks again Sue and Jon:)

Barbara was wonderful, friendly, accommodating, made sure I had a place to store my ebike, checked to make sure I had milk for coffee in the morning, told this amateur photographer where to get beautiful sunrise shots, and even offered to drive me to the train station in the morning in the driving rain (this idiot was already on her way, on her bike, and wishes she had read that very kind and generous offer much earlier!). A simple, clean, quiet, beachfront room. You'll be happy here. Thank you, Barbara; I hope to visit you again.

Was my second stay, this time to celebrate my birthday with my partner and we had such a nice time! It’s a cozy, very clean and comfortable spot with an awesome hot tub and adorable ducks - Peter even gave us some delicious duck boiled duck eggs to sample. Highly recommend this Airbnb. We look forward to returning very soon!

This place was the perfect weekend getaway from the city. Super clean, quiet, peaceful and felt right at home . While the apartment is connected to a house, there was never any disturbance and feels like no one is there! Alicia and Sean were super friendly and responsive with any help we needed. Lots of great restaurants in the area and quick drive to nearby towns. Definitely recommend and would love to come back!

We loved our stay. The place was just as described with several nice touches! Kat was very responsive and the location was terrific. Portsmouth is a fun city to explore. It also was very icy while we were there but our hosts gave us the driveway our entire time which made it much easier for us. Highly recommend!

A very relaxing stay we truly enjoyed. Home had everything we needed about 20 min from beach and 12 min from groceries. Enjoyed the gas fireplace at the porch and outdoor area with bbq grill.

Had great stay at George & Hazel's! My hosts were lovely and very helpful. Accomodation was in a quiet neighborhood near the waterfront. I slept well during my time there. It is a cosy space, and you can control the temperature easily. Clipper City Rail trail and Harborwalk Rail trail are nearby. I didn't have a vehicle l, but it was easy to walk to town centre amenities, and the train station. Many thanks again to George for picking me up at the train station on arrival. All the best!
