This was our second time staying at this house and once again this was hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel incredibly welcome — they were warm, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Every detail was clearly prepared with care and love. The house itself is cozy and very comfortable.— spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The views? Absolutely breathtaking! Waking up to such a serene and picturesque setting every morning was a dream. We especially appreciated all the thoughtful touches, from cozy blankets, local snacks and recommendations. You can tell the hosts truly care about their guests’ comfort and experience. If you’re considering booking this place, do it. You will not be disappointed!

This was my second time back. This time I brought my hubby and two dogs. We all had the best time! From bird watching to canoeing (a first for our pups), evening walks and enjoying the fire pit we all had a blast! Its a short drive into Brodhead for groceries at the Piggly Wiggly. Had great pizza and salad at Rock & Rollz followed by amazing ice cream complete with doggy cups at Tastee Creme. Took a drive out to Decatur Dairy for yummy grilled cheese sandwiches and fresh cheese curds. We are already looking at dates for our next trip! Best of all my Mom is in a facility less than 30 minutes away so we saw her every day of our visit. Thank you for sharing your cabin on the lake in the woods. If you love peaceful nature, don't hesitate, book now!

Location was very private and peaceful. The outdoor area was fabulous for dogs.
