Very lovely place, me and my girlfriend stayed here for a weekend and had no complaints. The host responded quickly and the property looked exactly like the photos. All the extra little touches like the fire wood, slippers, eggs and etc really made us feel welcome. Overall we really enjoyed our stayed and would happily stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay at Silva Cottage.The cottage was beautiful and had everything a person could need and very clean. The location was amazing set in woods and so so quiet apart from the birds which were a delight to see and hear especially watching the comings and going’s of Woodpeckers on the bird feeder. The hot tub was spectacular.Set in the woods nothing could compare to sitting back and enjoying the tub with a glass of fizz. We had a great recommendation from Lorraine for an Indian Takeaway which delivered to the cottage and ate a great lunch at The Tamar Inn at Calstock. Great location for walkers with Dartmoor on one side and Bodmin Moor on the other plus the coastal path. Would highly recommend this property and would love to return.

Amazing stay here with my husband. The cottage was perfect for a relaxing and quiet weekend. The breakfast basket was a lovely touch and everything was as described in the listing. Joy is a brilliant host checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly! Would definitely stay again!!

Cute property, clean, no direct access to the hot tub area but it is just across the driveway and is very secluded so wasn't a problem. Downstairs rooms slightly damp feel but then again it is a very old building so didn't bother us much. Very well connected to Bath and Bristol.

Very well appointed and great for a family, we had an 18 month old with us. The games room is a little gimmicky but was fun along with all the board games as we had a little one with us so adds a little to the stay along with the hot tub and beautiful garden as couldn’t pop to the pub in the evening. There is also a cache of cars which our daughter loved to play with, it was these nice little touches that made a difference. Some great recommends from the host and the local area is handy and beautiful with a play park just a 10 min walk away. Recommend the Rose and Crown pub on a sunny day, 15-20minute walk, garden is great and little slide for kids. Traffic is the only downside to the area really but the house is nestled away from it all.

Ok, if you are looking at this cottage and wondering whether to book it....just do it, stop wondering. You can thank me later. The quiet hits you first, only birdsong and the sound of the breeze through the trees. A genuinely beautiful, tranquil cottage, simply but lovingly presented with all the things you need. A kitchen with stove/oven, fridge, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee maker. A spotless shower room, and a separate lavatory complete with wash basin. The lovely large bed, comfortable chairs, table and bookcase all highlight the time and effort the hosts have spent creating something special. Hot tub ? Yes, very private and very relaxing too. The hosts had fired up the wood burner so that when we arrived the water was nice and toasty, perfect to enjoy the sweeping view to the valley below. (Bring flip flops or crocs as the path to the hot tub has an area of gravel). In short, we have absolutely loved time here. Many thanks Rhys & Lizzie for making it possible.

Helen and Paul’s place is the most beautiful and thoughtfully curated Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. This home truly goes above and beyond, every room is filled with beautiful, thoughtful touches that made our stay feel so special. From homemade sourdough bread waiting for us, to individual toiletries and everything you could possibly need already provided, it was clear how much care and love has gone into creating this space. The garden was absolutely stunning, with cozy, comfortable furniture perfect for relaxing. And the hot tub under the stars! Just magical. The entire stay felt like a peaceful retreat, and we left feeling completely recharged. Helen and Paul were the perfect hosts — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We can’t recommend this place highly enough.

This was only a short day for us but after a couple of days we felt so relaxed in a beautiful property. We sat out in the garden a lot which we found very peaceful and relaxing. The garden is an amazing space with very thoughtful planting. Will definitely stay again.

it's our second stay at Fish Cottage, the kids love it, we love it. As we are originally from devon we can access all our favourite places on day trips due to the location so really works for us Cottage is spacious, interesting and really well equipped and comfortable for our family. will continue each year if we can !! thankyou

Staying at Catherine's place was so relaxing and peaceful. The secret garden made it for me! Perfect place to read a book, have a meal and relax in the sunshine. There's the cutest courtyard off the kitchen to enjoy a morning coffee too. The cottage itself is plentiful with interesting pieces which makes it so homely. Everything you need in the kitchen and a lovely comfy bed. Plenty of hot water for showers and an en-suite to the master bedroom. Bampton is vibrant with places to eat and everything you need. A great area to explore Exmoor and Devon.

We had such a fantastic stay! It was everything we hoped for and more. The house was spotless, beds super comfortable and just had a real home from home feel. The grounds were spectacular and the position of the house was very private which was nice. We would definitely stay here again, what a gem!

You will find all that you need and so much more , far more than we expected for a comfortable relaxing vacation,a home from home. Little things that set Serena apart from other host's; Bowl of water ready for our pet Gluten free welcome gift for my wife and freshly baked scones for myself with clotted cream and jam...wonderful gesture Welcome on arrival and a departure chat and wave goodbye. What an absolute gem. Tucked away down a quiet country lane and within easy walking distance of a beach this place was an absolute delight to stay in. Check in was a breeze and we found the property to be clean and well equipped, matching its online description perfectly. The property had a lovely garden with seating and was only a ten minute walk from Sidmouth donkey sanctuary. The property came with a useful information book with recommendations for places to eat which we used. A number of other well known south Devon coastal towns were only a short drive away and the property was only 30 minutes drive from Lyme Regis and the Jurassic coast. Thoroughly recommend this wonderful property. Thank you Linda for a lovely stay.

What an absolute gem of a cottage, tucked away off the road but within easy walking distance of the town centre, Bishop's Palace and cathedral. Ted (spaniel) especially loved the water gulleys! The Orient Express was the best Chinese we've ever had!

A beautiful restored Water Mill with artistic history linked to Picasso through Clementina’s Father , fascinating with book written in the Mill . On the day we were to arrive the weather was horrible and Clementina lit 🔥 a beautiful log burning stove and turned on the central heating to make us feel at home , she welcomed us a little early and showed us around and explained in detail about how to use the facilities in the mill . We have eaten at at 4 of the 5 restaurants she recommended and our favourite by far was The Boar at Barrington ( must book to be sure ) all the others were good but The Boar stood out by far . We have had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was easy to find and had everything we needed plus a few extra thoughtful touches (dog treats, fresh scones!) that really enhanced our stay. I was pleasantly surprised to find out we could walk down to the seafront and the heritage railway which meant I didn’t have to drive at all during our four day trip. The cottage is small but was perfect for our needs and the ground floor bedrooms were nice and cool during the heatwave we had whilst there. It was well presented and very clean. The view out of the upstairs window over Minehead was lovely. We would definitely recommend it if you are visiting Minehead and we like to stay again. Many thanks.

An absolutely delightful home, beautifully maintained with everything one could possibly need and clear instructions. The house is full of history and the village of Dunster is stunning. Our dogs were very well catered for too with nice touches of food bowls, treats, bedding and towels provided. It made the perfect setting for a family get together. If you're looking for a peaceful corner of paradise, this is it. The Round House genuinely is the perfect getaway from it all cottage. So relaxing sitting and listening to the birds and the stream going by, regardless of whether you're in the hot tub or not (what a bonus!). The cottage itself is lovely, it has everything you could possibly need, with some really nice touches throughout. Kate is a fantastic host, and the guest folder has plenty of information of things to see and do during your stay. So what are you waiting for?! peaceful, high quality through out, easy parking right outside, super WiFi, magnificent view and well kept garden. we said we liked walking and there on the table was a perfect collection of walks.

The studio was amazing. Clean and beautifully furnished. The views from the studio were outstanding. It was so very peaceful and the owners were there if we needed anything. I would love to go back for longer and enjoy this beautiful place sometime. Perfect hosts perfect spot. Central to so many places to explore. Highly recommend.

If you need a sign to stay here, this is it!!! My friends and I spent our Easter weekend at Fern Cottage with Nicola and her 4 doggies. I cannot express enough how grateful we are to have had this stay with her. We walked in to a freshly baked Easter cake and the sweetest card ever. Everything in the house had such clear instructions and she also had a folder with all the details about the place surroundings so we never had to look for anything. We will definitely be visiting again! This place was truly so special and homely! We spent so much time in the conservatory, reading, chatting and soaking in the views. It really is the perfect getaway!

Neither James nor the house can take responsibility for the weather, but what we had was unendingly spectacular. 7 straight days of sunshine while, apparently, it rained in Spain. This is VERY unusual for the area, but really made the moore and farmland surrounding the cottage shine. Even if it had rained and been blustery, the cottage is fitted with an excellent heating system and a wood fire in the living room. Hotwater for the kitchen and bathrooms is prompt and plentiful. Recently renovated with good (rather than cheap) furniture choices made, the house is in great shape. The kitchen was well stocked and while the oven was a bit mysterious to operate, everything worked well. Pastoral by day, truly dark sky by night, and a strong selection of both gastro-pubs and wonderful footpaths on which to reach them right out the door from the property.
