Monthly Rentals in Rivière-Beaudette

We had a lovely stay at this tucked away little home. Cara gave clear instructions on how to use the amenities and stocked the house well for emergency situations like power outages. Our cat also felt comfortable in the home because the surroundings are private and quiet. Despite internet service in general not being great in that particular part of Ontario (Glengarry), Cara has equipped the home with an impressive setup that ensures good quality, fast internet throughout the house. And finally, Cara herself was a very responsive host, and even offered to greet us upon check in to show us around, although we weren't able to arrive at a time that Cara was available. Great experience!

We spent a couple of days in September at Catherine's place and it was fantastic. We found the house to be very well appointed (particularly the kitchen!) and some of the extra amenities were nice to have (the sauna was very nice). It was great being right on the St. Lawrence River and peaceful to sit on the deck, watch the birds and enjoy a cup of coffee during the sunrise. We did a bit of fishing off the deck and found it to be surprisingly good! Being right on the water the mosquitos were really bad, but I think that is probably to be expected. The house is on a busy road, so if you are like us and bring your four-legged friend along, walking them on a road with folks driving by at 60+ mph is a bit unsettling. We made a couple of trips into Montreal, and while it's a bit of a hike (~50 miles), it was a fairly easy drive and took about an hour. Overall we had a really nice time and we would certainly recommend to anyone looking to spend some time on the river around Montreal!

Great place to have a reset. Feel one with the peace and nature. Beautiful entourage definitely would revisit. The place was impeccable and homey. Enjoyed all the time spent.

beautiful place very comfy, great host it's a shame we didn't have time to enjoy the place more and loved the fact there there's a car charger!
