The Hayloft provides self catering holiday cottage accommodation fitted out to a high standard. The property is located in the pretty little village of Bainton situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds close to many tourist destinations such as Beverley, Hull, York and the east coast. The cottage has a private gravelled garden area with outdoor furniture, set within one acre of private land and includes off road parking. We welcome two well behaved dogs but they must not be left unattended.

Please also note that the property has slipper baths - there are no showers or shower heads (see pictures) Private area with seating and a hot tub. We are in the countryside but only 2 miles from local amenities. Pocklington is 2 miles, The beautiful city of York is 12 miles, the coast is only an hours drive.

Enjoy staying at our charming Georgian cottage in leafy Roundhay, a 10 minute car ride from the centre of Leeds. There are original features, a wood burning stove, Aga and is within walking distance of Roundhay Park, cafes, bars and restaurants. With easy access to York by car, bus, cycle track or (in the summer months) riverbus, you can explore the city’s history or the beauty of the surrounding countryside. This one-bedroomed cottage is well-equipped and private, with the owners next door for information or advice on your visit.

Pear Tree Barn has been lovingly restored and converted as holiday accommodation during 2016. The old timbers have been retained but are not obtrusive, where the height of the interior allows the original A frame roof timbers add that necessary rustic charm to what is now a modern property.
