Monthly Rentals in Riu Mannu

Overall a very positive experience. During the low season (Nov), it was completely void of people. It was very nice to be the only person in the village. The little houses are simple but very comfortable. The kitchen and public areas in the main hostel building are spotless and very well furnished. The breakfasts are good with a variety of options. (A cheese grater is missing though!) The best part of the stay was the peace and ambiance. The whole area has a lot of nature and many historical places to visit, even on foot. To mention two minor drawbacks: the mobile data coverage is weak (WiFi in the main hostel building in decent), the local restaurant is noisy until late night on weekend (no problem on weekdays).

This was my second time staying at Maddalena and Mario's B&B! I really enjoy the space, it's great for 1-2 people! Very modern, updated, cozy! It's in the historic center of Sassari, so you are very close to all the historic landmarks, attractions, and main piazza with the most popular bars and resturants. I highly recommend it for a solo traveler!

I stayed at Giovanni Antonio’s Air BnB for about 10 days in January 2025. My stay was fantastic. The house is very spacious and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept like a baby! As for the host and his wife, they are lovely people, truly welcoming and on hand for any questions or issues. They provided a generous, well-stocked and replenished supply of breakfast foods. The location is great, with the main supermarket a two-minute walk and the town centre 3-4 minutes walk from the front door. The local pizzeria, La Torre, recommended to me by everyone I met in Ozieri, is excellent only a 5-minute walk. As a Catholic, I was also delighted to find active churches - the beautiful cathedral and the church of San Francesco - also 5-10 minutes walk from the house. I could go on, but suffice it to say it has been a great experience and I would recommend this lovely family's house to anyone.

Even though we had laguage barrier, host made us feel comfortable. They offered us very nice coffee when we arrived and shared small stories about the place. Subsequently, we were shown the property, which was very clean and cozy. Very rarely, property gets "home" title and this is one of them where you have limitless soap, shampoo, coffee, salt, sugar, coffee, tea, oil and other consumables. You will live in a farm, away from the Chiaramonti. Farm consists of pigs, sheep and chicken. To entertain, there were three little dogs which loved to be pet even when we returned at mid-night. They were awsome. So was one of the three cats. All of them frequented to our part of the house. Waking up to the sound of wind, sheep bells, birds and be surrounded by mountains was what we wanted. You will be well connected as the house is not more than a kilometer away from a main road. That said, the house may not be very close to places like Alghero (West) or Olbia(East) - an hour of driving needed.
