Clean and comfy. Overall, very nice. FYI there’s lots of dogs in the neighborhood and once one starts barking, they all start barking for awhile. You can hear them clearly even with windows closed. Pro tip, walk/drive back to the highway a couple blocks, park by the roadhouse or fountain, walk under the highway via the tunnel, take a rock path to the left for about 2 mins until you come to a rope swing. Jump in there or swim in the river. It’s relatively shallow and you can stand up in the middle.

We spent 2 nights at Tom’s place and couldn’t be happier. Tom is such a kind and empathetic host that accommodated the changes we were experiencing, and also flexible enough to provide us with early check in and late check out. The place was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The walls were just a bit thin and you can hear between rooms quite easily, but not too much of an issue for us given everything else being great. Highly recommend and we hope to stay again in the future! Thanks Tom.

Dan’s place was amazing and pristine! Normally I would say the hot tub was the best part (which it was definitely in the top), BUT THE BED. It was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in any stay!!! He was great with communication and easy to reach if we had any questions. To get to the house can be a bit intimidating since it becomes a single shared road with the local residents, but it definitely added to the charm. The location was unique, and welcoming. We highly recommend Dan’s place, and we hope to visit again.

What a great place to stay amongst the redwoods! Comfortable, cozy, and beautiful. Great views and the neighborhood is so cool, quiet, and peaceful. Awesome music venue and bar 5 min walk away. Close to the river, town, woods, wineries, and ocean. Wine cooler was a nice touch and hosts were friendly and responsive. My dogs and I loved it. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!
