Vacation rentals in Río Abajo

Ms. Marta is an excellent host. We (me, hubby & 2 cats), just moved here to Puerto Rico from Pennsylvania. We rented this Airbnb because we wanted to look for a place between here and San Juan. Ms. Marta found out that we were looking for a place to buy/rent in the area and offered us an extended stay to continue looking for a place. (Relieved)! The villa we rented was clean, cozy and private. The linen smelled so good. There is a washer/dryer right on the property for your use. The hospitality was amazing. You want for nothing. When we told Ms. Marta we didn't have any internet service, she immediately responded. She spoke to the owner Mr. Juan, and that same day we had internet service. (Loose cable) Chewy is the awesome grounds keeper. If anything is needed, ask him once, and it's done!! He even brought my husband and I fresh coconut water. Gigantic coconut with a hole drilled on top. Yum. Nature, horses, dogs, singing coqui's and a pool! It felt like home. A must stay!!

Thank you for your lovely treatment Rachel, I really liked you, I loved the place, the decoration was so cozy, the place was super relaxing, the outdoor bathtub with hot water was the best hehe and of course the full moon and the starry sky on the terrace of the mini house wow! I will definitely return.

La Pina was a peaceful oasis in the middle of the forest. Beautiful flowering trees and greenery all around. The sounds of the coqui at night echoed throughout the hillside. It is a lovely place to unwind. The place was immaculate, and the bed was very comfortable. No one was staying in the attached apartment, so we had a very quiet stay. Marta was very responsive and accommodating, allowing us a later check out due to the heavy rain on our last day. She shared great recommendations for the surrounding area. Although we didn't get to see too much of the grounds, wasn't sure where the animals were located, we found lots of lizards, coqui, and a variety of birds around the space. Loved the back patio with the gorgeous view. Kitchen was fully equipped. My 8 year old says "it was amazing!" I would definitely recommend Marta's place to anyone looking for a quiet, clean, peaceful spot a bit off the beaten path, embedded in nature. Would return to this oasis in a heartbeat! 5 stars!

We had the most wonderful stay ! The best airB&B we ever stayed at! A dreamplace! We will have the best memories from the Sugar Shack at El Yunque; the most welcoming place, the eveningsounds, the amazing view, the beautiful flowers the people.

Valerie's tiny houses were the perfect place to stay to continue enjoying the beauty of El Yunque after hiking in the park that day. The facilities are modern and clean, the beds comfortable, and the deck a lovely spot to enjoy the stellar views of the surrounding landscape. Their dogs Cookie and Crema constituted the best welcome committee we could have hoped for, and their cute cat appeared briefly to receive some love, too. The place was easy to navigate to with Google Maps, so it's a good place to stay if you're unfamiliar with the area. Overall, very happy with our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay and the beautiful views

We loved our stay at Marta's. The views were amazing and the surroundings were peaceful. I wish we had more time to relax while there and I could see us going back in the future for some quiet R&R. The location was near all the local hotspots and we used it as our base for trips to Vieques & Farajado.

I cannot say enough about this place! Beautiful and peaceful! But what stands out the most is the care and comfort Nancy provided for us!! We stayed during Easter week so a lot of places were closed for the holidays. Nancy COOKED US DINNER!!!! She had it ready for us 10mins after we arrived! Perfect timing! She is the sweetest and down to earth person! So kind and thoughtful!!! 10 out of 10 isn’t enough!!! Beautiful scenery, beautiful room and even more beautiful people!!! BOOK IT NOW!!!
