Around the farm there is the possibility for short and longer trips. 800 m from the house there is a small lake where you can swim and fish in the summer, or just enjoy the silence. In the Activity barn there is the possibility of training, billiards, table tennis, long table and sofa corner. Experienced riders can rent a horse for horseback riding. Sjusjøen, Lillehammer and Moelv are about 20 minutes away.

The stone cabins at Kastad farm are remotely located in stunning natural surroundings. The cabin in the pipe, like the other cabins, has an amazing view of Mjøsa and Kastadtar. In the winter there are nice ski tracks right outside the door and the atmospheric cabin combined with the sauna creates the perfect winter experience. The house is also suitable for those who need a place to stay for a shorter period of time while renovating their house, or looking for something new. A cheap holiday / residence for small to large families.

The house is an old log house that invites you to cosy and cosy. Low under the roof and with painted panel inside. Comfortable windows in all rooms. In the kitchen you will find everything you need of tools to prepare a meal, dishes, bowls and dishes, and a rich drawers with cutlery and tools. Kitchen towels and cloths are provided .

Fantastic view from the living room/kitchen and terrace towards Sjusjøvannet.

Spacious completely renovated cabin centrally located on Sjusjøen. Ski tracks just past the cabin plot and alpine slope in the immediate vicinity. Swimming area and playground within walking distance. Consistently high standard with sauna, fire pit, internet and chromecast TV. Bed linen and towels can be rented for an additional fee of NOK 150 per person. Cleaning can be ordered for NOK 750 Dog NOK 500 per dog, per stay.
