In the winter there are nice ski tracks right outside the door and the atmospheric cabin combined with the sauna creates the perfect winter experience. The house is also suitable for those who need a place to stay for a shorter period of time while renovating their house, or looking for something new. Faråsen tree farm! A unique experience in great treehouses 10 meters above the ground. This treehouse is called Mjøsgløtt and has been named because of the amazing view. Here you not only get to experience life in a treehouse, but you can also visit kind animals we have on our farm. We also sell meat from the farm that can be delivered up to the cabin and grilled at their private gap by a cozy pond. Here the children can swim and use the rowboat. There are also nice hiking trails for walking, skiing and biking.

Beautifully situated log cabin 10 minutes by car from the centre of Lillehammer. There is a short distance to the Birkebeineren ski stadium which has a large network of hiking trails. 15 minutes drive to Nordseter and about 20 minutes drive to Sjusjøen with great hiking trails and ski slopes. Hoppbakken is only 3 minutes drive from the cabin with great views of the city. 5 minutes by car to the nearest grocery store. For alpine skiing you have Hafjell which is 25 minutes away and Kvitfjell 1 hour away.

Bed linen and towels can be rented for an additional fee of NOK 150 per person. Cleaning can be ordered for NOK 750 Dog NOK 500 per dog, per stay.

Husmannsplassen Havrebakken is an idyllic little house on Hovelsrud farm on Helgøya with phenomenal views of Mjøsa. There is a nice house with living room, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. There is a separate garden around the house. Here you can sit on nice evenings and enjoy the view. There is access to the beach at Hovelsrud. There are nice hiking trails in the forest right behind the house.
