Vacation rentals with a pool in Ribeira Grande

Accommodation with lots of charm, nice little village.

Aldeia Manga is a tropical oasis in the middle of the beautiful Paul Valley. Safe, well equipped with restaurant and bar. The water pool is very clean and wonderfully cooling. In our days there, it usually attracted less in the afternoon because of this being able to enjoy the sun less after a beautiful walk, but it hardly detracted from this wonderful environment. We had cottage GOIAVA a little higher than the other with a steep staircase, but therefore an indescribably beautiful view to the sea. Staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, including by taking very good account of the allergies of one of us. In any case, the food was excellent with a lot of variation. If we go to S. Antao again, it will definitely be Aldeia Manga. Maybe even the reason to visit another that beautiful island.

Very nice, very chic, the bungalows are beautifully located, overlooking the wonderful Paul Valley, facing the impressive 850 m high cliff. Allow for a 15-minute walk up if you want to get around by rental car. Breakfast is very good, and the hospitality is super professional.

Peaceful and beautiful location deep in Paúl Valley. Room was spacious and comfortable. Excellent breakfast included and optional dinner of €15pp is reasonable value but does not include any drinks. They offer wash and dry laundry service which is priced well. Check in times are not explicitly clear. Listing states between 14:00 and 19:00, but after messaging the host he stated that it is normally until 18:00. For ourselves check in was delayed by the carnival celebrations but fortunately we were able to still arrive while staff are around.

Unforgettable stay in this lovely haven. The beautiful house is located by the sea with a lovely pool as in the photos. Not only the house and very pleasant but Anny is a very welcoming person, in sharing and human experience. She also has a good network/knowledge and a small team to make the stay easier (drivers to take you and pick you up from the departure/arrival points of the different hikes; evening meals prepared by Isa, Verdian cape for a maudique sum and excellent, much better than at the restaurant). I travel a lot and can assure you that I have rarely met such hospitality and this range of service without forcing. I leave with great memories and new friends! Thank you again!

Great location if your plan is to discover the island through the walking/bike paths while being surrounded by nature! Renting a car is strongly recommended for ease of accessibility.

The house is amazing, has everything and is the perfect place to rest and spend time with your friends or family after a long hike. The neighbors and all the people of the village are very friendly. I would certainly repeat my stay in this home again.
