The couple working for the house also perfectly represents Cape Verdean kindness and humility. I only have one desire, which is to go back because one night is too short to appreciate the place. Unforgettable stay in this lovely haven. The beautiful house is located by the sea with a lovely pool as in the photos. Not only the house and very pleasant but Anny is a very welcoming person, in sharing and human experience. She also has a good network/knowledge and a small team to make the stay easier (drivers to take you and pick you up from the departure/arrival points of the different hikes; evening meals prepared by Isa, Verdian cape for a maudique sum and excellent, much better than at the restaurant). I travel a lot and can assure you that I have rarely met such hospitality and this range of service without forcing. I leave with great memories and new friends! Thank you again!

The house is amazing, has everything and is the perfect place to rest and spend time with your friends or family after a long hike. The neighbors and all the people of the village are very friendly. I would certainly repeat my stay in this home again.

Accommodation with lots of charm, nice little village.

We had a lovely stay at Carlo's house and enjoyed his hospitality. The view is amazing and the house well equiped. Supermarkets, hiking spots and the town are all nearby - which was very conveniant. Great place to stay during visiting the valley!

Great location if your plan is to discover the island through the walking/bike paths while being surrounded by nature! Renting a car is strongly recommended for ease of accessibility.

The house is a great spot to get some peace and quite. Hiking trails start nearbx and the small town with bars, restaurants and supermarktes is in walkable distance. Basilion who was our contact person during the stay was a great host and helped us with transportation. Thanks for the great stay!

Upon arrival in the apartment an overwhelming view from the open kitchen. Very cozy and really African furnished. No luxury but really atmospheric, which makes it so much fun. A home just in the middle of the locals in a traditional village. Nearby 2 delicious restaurants: O'Curral and Ady&Juju. Everything homemade. The first closed as early as 6pm but we could just order and take out. Then consumed at the bar in our open kitchen, because there was actually no better view than there... The walks in the surrounding area are insane.

Very nice space, in the center of the village, which gave us a good stay and good times, despite needing some maintenance. We were greeted by Gabi, who was available when we needed it. We leave a thank you to Veronica (Bar Pedra Balea), Gabi's sister, for her culinary gifts, the fish mass was divine. Thank you Odile.
