Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Ribeira Grande

The accommodation has absolutely magical views of the Paul Valley. It is located in the heart of the valley and accessible by rental. In addition, Katia is very available and responsive, she offered us public transport for our arrival. She also advised us on nearby restaurants and activities. We had a lovely stay at Katia's. I recommend this listing.

We stayed in this lovely house in the heart of the village for 8 people for 4 days. All rooms are very nice and with lots of charm. The sea view is beautiful. The premises are very welcoming, especially Gabi and Veronica who managed our reception on site. We ate at Veronica's restaurant every night, her cuisine is excellent and she took care to vary the meals (there is very little in the grocery stores to cook on site). We had a driver during our 4 days who was able to recommend beautiful hikes and booked our lunch. We were missing soap and shower towels, but nothing too serious for us. If you want to be transported and immersed in Cape Verde, Odile's is the place to go. We loved it!

Charming and quiet house, matches the photos. Sandra prepared a typical meal for us twice, very good. She also holds a gazebo next to the church with drinks and food. 2 small grocery stores in the village and a distributor (ATM). Village quite central for all excursions with aluguer.

We proactively checked in every day so that transport with Collectivos could be planned. Since there was no Collectivo on Sunday, we had to take a taxi. Thanks for the beautiful accommodation and the support from Maria Helena!

The accommodation is ideally located by the sea, very quiet, it feels good. Anny was as pleasant as could be and we can never thank her enough for her kind advice. The couple working for the house also perfectly represents Cape Verdean kindness and humility. I only have one desire, which is to go back because one night is too short to appreciate the place. Unforgettable stay in this lovely haven. The beautiful house is located by the sea with a lovely pool as in the photos. Not only the house and very pleasant but Anny is a very welcoming person, in sharing and human experience. She also has a good network/knowledge and a small team to make the stay easier (drivers to take you and pick you up from the departure/arrival points of the different hikes; evening meals prepared by Isa, Verdian cape for a maudique sum and excellent, much better than at the restaurant). I travel a lot and can assure you that I have rarely met such hospitality and this range of service without forcing. I leave with great memories and new friends! Thank you again!

The accommodation is impeccable and very pleasant. Being outside the city it is an extremely peaceful place. Don't worry about getting there, all taxis know the address and drop you off there for a very reasonable rate. Very good hosting from others, thank you to them! I recommend 100%!

The place was very nice. We had a good time as a family and enjoyed the beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. Medugia's fine breakfast is also recommended. The location is not very suitable for hiking holidays and we recommend renting a car to explore the island. Unfortunately, the Internet did not work, which limited us, as we did not have telephone subscriptions and therefore could not directly request excursions and guides. However, Medugia kindly organized a guide for us. However, it was somewhat difficult to communicate (only Portuguese/Creole). We're missing information about the surrounding area. (Nearest restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, hiking...)

The location was great! 7 minutes walk from the harbor. Supermarket just around the corner. Restaurants are within a few minutes' walking distance. Praia de Armazem is a 3-minute walk away (beach). Room was very spacious and the bed was gigantic. There was a kettle, fridge and some cutlery and crockery available. Bathroom was simple, but nice and warm water. Arlindo was not there (on tour with the band, definitely recommended to listen!), but his daughter was very helpful.

Our stay at Kasa d’vizin was amazing. The apartment was beautiful, with thoughtful touches and a private balcony overlooking banana trees which a perfect spot to relax. Located in stunning Eito, it’s an ideal base for hiking and exploring the valley. The staff went above and beyond, and Hannelore, the owner, was incredibly kind and responsive. The sense of community, friendly neighbours, and delicious vegan and vegetarian-friendly meals made our stay even more special. We wish we could have stayed longer and can’t wait to return. Highly highly recommend! Already dreaming of coming back!

A lovely place, in an incredibly beautiful area. Excellent as a starting point for beautiful, challenging hikes. Simple shops are nearby, and two excellent restaurants are in walking distance.

Staying with Charles was really great, we enjoyed the peace, solitude, the hum of the ocean and the starry sky. We didn't even want to leave. The equipment was excellent and we enjoyed the hammock on the terrace. Charles was very helpful, accommodating and helped us a lot with the organization of our stay. We'd love to come back to this place
