“Old Mains Cottage” In Tranquil Surroundings

We had a fantastic stay at Anne's cottage. nice and peaceful and out of the way of the hustle and bustle. We used the cottage as a hub to visit pretty much all of Scotland, many miles we used in this adventure.

The Clearing -eco holiday home.

SammyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Clearing was an absolutely beautiful accommodation which was kept absolutely pristine! The host, David, was super kind and accommodating for our trip, and very proactive and responsive and providing taxi recommendations and checking if we needed anything during our stay. We used the property as wedding accommodation and a bridal accommodation for getting ready in the morning. It was stunning and the natural light and beautiful decor and art were a fantastic backdrop for the day! I would come back here in a heartbeat!

Botriphnie Stables in Drummuir, Moray, Scotland

Great spot to explore the district. There is so much more than whisky distilleries if you look. As a rural community there is always something else to be found by people adding extra to their enterprises. Or you can just go to the distilleries. 😀

Charming quiet cottage in the heart of Aboyne

AlisonRating, 5 starstoday
Judith was welcoming. The cottage was beautifully clean and spacious. Lots of lovely little details. Great space outside french doors for a glass of wine and a chance to see swallows and swifts up close. In the big field we saw a deer with her very young fawn. Communication with Judith was great. We will definitely be back. Thank you

Bogancloch Treehouse

NoahRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Jake's place is one of the most authentic, true back to earth places you will ever visit. Jake is a lovely charming man with great stories and great local knowledge, and without a doubt the most hospitable host I have ever had the pleasure to meet - even sharing fresh herbs and vegetables from his garden and supplies from his own home. the site is off grid so no electricity but this is the last thing you'll worry about when your out there, the most glorious scenery in Britain and the most peaceful, private area to enjoy the beautiful views, smells and sounds campfires, birdsong, companionship and much much more - the area surrounding is plentiful with beautiful abandoned and active castles, houses, distillerys aswell as endless amazing little villages and towns, taint pubs/cafes/restaurants and shops and sights a plenty. 500 stars out of 5 couldn't reccomend this more, you must experience this, honestly, trust me.

The Castle Byre

CamasRating, 5 stars4 days ago
This was by far the best home we stayed at on our 18 day trip all over Scotland. Colin greeted us and shared the history of the guest house that he renovated and things to see in the surrounding area. Every morning we woke up in awe of the view. We loved the wild flowers, the pheasants, and the beautiful path up to the castle. The little house was beautifully designed, new, comfortable and private. We didn’t want to eat out all so we bought food at the nearest store and used the kitchen to eat in. We will always remember this place and hope to come back again. Thank you Colin and Penny for allowing us to experience those three perfect days at your home.
