The Wee Hut

ClareRating, 5 stars1 week ago
One of the most beautiful and comfortable airbnbs I’ve stayed in! The location was gorgeous, Rosie was beyond helpful and welcoming, including having freshly baked bread ready for us on arrival! The hut was very clean and warm. The kitchen was even better equipped than my kitchen at home. On top of all of that the yoga class was one of the most enjoyable I’ve ever done, it was so relaxing. Lovely sauna session as well!! Truly can’t recommend this place more.

We had a great stay at this lovely place in Tighnabruaich. Everything was as described in the listing and it was such a peaceful and cosy place to stay. The flat has been decorated really nicely and had everything we needed.

Levanburn Cottage - IN00036F

The best experience we ever had when booking an AirBnB. Caroline and Stephen were such fantastic hosts, the cottage was so cozy and comfortable, Caroline had thought of everything to make our stay perfect. When we arrived, she offered us breakfast hamper full of delicious things, fresh bread, croissants, pains au chocolates, fresh berries etc. That was the perfect fit for a cottage breakfast. Definitely a place to recommend and to come back! Thank you so much - it was great to stay here!

Stunning Apt with Sea View | Port Bannatyne | 1 BD

TaraRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We absolutely loved staying here. The flat is a dream, perfectly furnished and decorated, with beautiful views (and bench seats for every view)! It was so well stocked, everything had been thought of, and Graeme made sure we had everything we needed for our stay, which we really appreciated. The guidebook made everything simple and straightforward, and we loved the recommendations - would second the recommendation for the community pub, and we had a great day trip to Loch Fyne Oyster Bar. A lot of local places were closed during our mid-week, off-season stay, but the flat and the surroundings were so beautiful that it didn't matter! It was the perfect place to cosy up in after walks in the Bute winds. We hope to be back.
The view from the apartment captures a serene landscape of the Clyde estuary at dawn, featuring rolling hills partially enveloped in mist. Soft pastel hues painted across the sky complement the reflections on the calm water, creating a peaceful moment in nature.

A Beaut of a flat in Ardbeg!

CharmaineRating, 5 stars3 months ago
I cannot say enough about our stay at Ardbeg! Keith was the consummate host!! Attentive, always responsive, offered endless suggestions for us and so very kind! He and Sally met us at the flat and showed us everything we needed to know and provided good info for the area. The space had the best view we’d ever seen and it was cozy and had everything we needed for our stay to make it feel like home. Bute lives up to its name- BEAUTIFUL!!! We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back soon!!!
A view from the apartment window captures the sea with a ferry approaching the harbor and a sailboat drifting nearby. The backdrop features rolling hills and cloudy skies. In the foreground, a collection of rooftops is visible, offering a glimpse of the town's architecture.

3 Bishop Terrace Brae, Rothesay, Isle of Bute.

GaryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Was our second stay at Jean’s flat. She is kind, helpful and responsive. She is also accommodating to any reasonable request. The flat itself is basic but is good value for the cost. There’s everything you need there as a comfortable base for your adventures. The stairs may be a challenge to anyone with mobility issues. Bute itself is a beautiful island to explore and decent transport options. The island has in recent years suffered from a number of businesses closing and imo in need of government investment/initiatives to reinvigorate it. Which is a shame. Nonetheless it’s a place of some outstanding natural beauty and still worth exploring. We recommend the wee community run pub in Port Bannatyne which is a friendly wee treasure. In Rothesay itself we recommend the Galatea for its beer garden and friendly service. There’s some lovely eateries too. Mount Stuart, Kingarth and Kilchattan Bay all lovely places to visit. Looking forward to returning one day to Jean’s flat. 5 stars!
