Situated on the outskirts of the Kraichgau, with a breath taking view of the Heuchelberg and surrounded by vineyards, the house is the ideal place for a relaxing weekend trip or holiday. The accommodation is perfect for couples, single travellers or families with children, as the second sleeping option is a pull-out sofa in the living room. The new building was acquired by us in May 2016. The 46 square meter apartment on the ground floor of the house is quiet but also central to many places of interest in the region. Wine cultivation with the typical broom economies, as well as many winemakers with tasting rooms can be reached quickly by bike or car.

Living in a farmhouse

You will be staying on the ground floor of the converted side building of the farm. Large garden with 2 ponies by a small stream. We produce wood chips for the heat on the farm. Here there are still 20 chickens with fresh eggs every day, 4 goats. Our dog Jule is very sweet. A small sauna and a swimming pool. The terrace, sitting area, fireplace in the garden are free of charge. Costs for sauna in addition €15 per sauna session for 2 people in consultation on site, or bookable is walking with the horses.

There are lots of excursion options in the area, such as Heidelberg Castle, Technikmuseum Sinsheim, golf courses, Klimaarena, etc. The apartment with a beautiful outdoor area including an outdoor pool and hot tub invite you to vacation. The terrace offers enough seating/lounging options to relax. Direct field location, as well as a private small fitness area invite you to sports activities.

The location in the middle of the nature reserve & not far from the famous rock sea in Lautertal welcomes hikers, those seeking peace and quiet, yogis and nature lovers. Shopping & restaurants are in the immediate vicinity, just a few minutes' drive away. There is a large dining table for shared meals. Party groups NOT welcome

We pay close attention to cleanliness and make sure that the apartment is always freshly prepared. We are happy to provide towels & bed linens for €7.50 per person.

The apartment is located in a climatic health resort surrounded by a lot of forest. Nearby there are numerous attractions such as Heidelberg with the Heidelberg Castle and the old town, the Miramar Weinheim or the Badewelt Sinsheim. The Odenwald invites you to hike or cycle.

Ground floor apartment The description says it's a shared pool. It is used by ourselves from time to time. There is a possibility to reserve the pool every day for several hours. You have private access to the pool from the apartment! From early summer 2026 there will be an exclusive sauna, which can be booked optionally. Smoking is allowed outdoors only!! Pets are allowed but please clarify BEFORE booking and specify in the request.
