For the hikers among us. A great place with a wonderful walking route of 12 km. Close to a nice town of Saarburg. You have to do Saarburg with the car in the evening.

Great stay with Sabrina and Christian. Very straightforward and friendly check-in. The apartment was just right for our short stay. Although we did not use the kitchen, it looked well equipped.

Super cozy place to stay with all your needs! The Ehrenburg and the Ehrbach Gorge are within walking distance and really worth seeing. Merten was very friendly and helpful. :)

It was a wonderful stay with a super warm welcome! Already as a welcome, there was blue salt as a guest gift and on departure we also noticed a tomato and a chill plant as a souvenir, how can we do better? 😁

We stayed there 2 weeks ago. Wonderful ambiance, the view from above fantastic! We lacked nothing! Everything very clean and furnished with love! We gave our friends a couple's getaway shortly before the birth of the twins. The two were incredibly satisfied with the location, friendliness and tranquility that was given to them. Even with a booking problem on our part, the two were direct and committed in their assistance. If your are looking for a beautiful place to come and relax as well as enjoy the outdoors this is the place for you. This Airbnb is very secluded and off the beaten path so make sure your bring your own groceries and entertainment. However Ria has done a very good job with her rental to ensure it feels right at home and has the amenities for you to cook and live as you would at your own home. If you wish to go out to eat, the local hotel serves some very good food as well. The forests surrounding this place makes you feel like you had stepped back in time to a simpler place with no stress. There are many hiking paths to take which lead throughout the forest and to the surrounding villages. I suggest hiking to the bildchen chapel in the forest which is a charming little place. I would definitely not hesitate to come back and stay at the at this beautiful place again.

A beautiful, quiet place in a peaceful sea of flowerfields and nature. The only thing that disrupted the peace and quiet were probably our kids ;) A very nice location, a clean and well functioning house that they keep improving. We sat outside most of the time because of the nice view and nice temperatures, but inside on the cosy couch is just as comfortable. We might be going back sometime!

The place was easy to find and check-in was easy. The location is wonderful, beautiful area and quiet. The space is modern and well-maintained. Many nice touches. Good mattress, very comfortable. Caroline and Carlo were friendly and questions could be answered quickly. We felt comfortable and we enjoyed everything very much. Should we be in the area again, we now know where to book 🙂 Thank you for everything.

A super nice, clean apartment that is modernly furnished and corresponds 100 percent to the description. A real oasis of well-being with a small terrace. Very nice and accommodating hosts. We will be happy to come back!

The AirBnB was in a very quiet location. There was a parking space right in front of the house. Everything was clean and very lovingly furnished. Everything has been thought of. We felt very comfortable.

Very comfortable apartment in a wonderful location, absolutely recommended! Communication with Dick was great, we got a lot of tips about the area and also in the cottage there were all kinds of books and leaflets, so we were very inspired! We especially walked a lot, very nice and interesting old volcanic area. In the evening, we relaxed in this nice place. In addition to the varied nature, a few surprising recommendations from us: archery at the Wolffhotel and Privatmuseum Steinkiste in Manderscheid.

We were there with our dogs. Although the apartment is small, everything is lovingly furnished. Dog bowls, dog treats and blankets were already ready to welcome you. The direct forest location is great, you can start immediately or take tours into the area from there. We will be happy to come back.

We arrived in a warm home, were warmly welcomed and got some tips for the area. The two open-minded hosts were very helpful and accommodating. We felt very comfortable. The very friendly and clear communication from the beginning even saved us a speeding ticket :) The equipment is as shown in the pictures, very well maintained and amply equipped with everything you could ever need. Highly recommended.

We had two wonderful days in Unkel and were delighted with this accommodation, we would definitely come back and felt completely comfortable:)
