Our apartment is located directly on the castle ruins and the Maar. In April 2023, the Ulmen Maar Stollen was opened, which connects the Maar and the Jungferweiher via an approx. 120 m long tunnel. The Volcanic Eifel offers many possibilities. Whether cycling, hiking, fishing (Maar, Jungferweiher) or motorcycling in the winding Eifel or on the Nürburgring (15 min). Many attractions such as the Maare, castles (Eltz Castle), waterfalls or the cities of Cochem, Trier, Koblenz, etc.

You will be staying in a lovingly and elaborately renovated, former oil mill from 1762. At the foot of the Hirschkopf Berg in Boppard. The rustic courtyard invites you to linger. Directly located on it is the hiking path to the unique viewpoint on the famous Rhine loop and the via ferrata. The chairlift also starts close to the mill to the city forest, with lots of hiking and down hill fun. The proximity to the Rhine also allows boats,and bike rides, e.g. to the castles.

'IN the HORSE STABLE' door to door with chicken and horse

'IN the HORSE STABLE' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the mill estate. It used to be a stable.(Be sure to check out my other apartment 'barn loft' too. The room has low ceilings and small wall wall windows. The room is suitable for people who are looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the not basement, cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for toddlers who are still crawling on the floor.
