Vacation rentals with lake access in Reykjavík

Can’t say enough about how easy and responsive David was. His motorhome was perfect for our trip and he was able to answer questions within minutes. We would not hesitate to rent from him again.

We had a super nice holiday in Iceland. We had decided very last minute to leave on vacation. Berglind has made every effort for us to get her house organized in one day. Despite our late decision, the house was already ready in the afternoon of arrival. The house is very nicely decorated, enough space, the kitchen is well equipped and the 2 bathrooms were great too! Our 5-year-old daughter was also able to enjoy herself with the toys present. Furthermore, we enjoyed the hot tub on the terrace. Berglind is a great host, she responds quickly to all your questions.

Great location that’s outside the hustle of downtown Reykjavik. Sweet neighborhood and extremely well-kept home with beautiful backyard. Highly recommend.

Hilmar’s home was the perfect place for my family to enjoy 6 days in Iceland. The home was exactly as pictured and allowed us to have plenty of space to enjoy together time or time apart after a long day of togetherness. The home was very clean, instructions were clear and Hilmar was always very responsive. I would highly recommend this home and plan to share with friends as they look to travel to Iceland.

Sara’s place felt at home. We were comfortable. With 5 of us, 2 living spaces really helped. We are able to have our own spaces within the house. A relatively new home, fast internet and while it’s was super freezing out there, we were snug as a bug! Would happily return. Great communication too. 👍🏼

Annel was a great host & his home was absolutely beautiful! We were so grateful to find a place with such a beautiful view. Annel was also very helpful and allowed us to have a flexible check in.

Everything was fine with the accommodation. Milad answers questions quickly. Parking is great. Fully equipped kitchen.

Helga was extremely responsive and the information she shared was incredibly helpful! She made sure everything was set for our 11 month old and provided great recommendations. One of our group had a later flight and she was super flexible with a later flexible time. Would highly recommend staying here.

We've stayed here twice now and again it's absolutely amazing, the scenery, the apartment, the host all amazing and nothing to complain about. one of the best places I've ever stayed at.

Great location & included parking. Newer apartment complex not far from the city. Area is still under a lot of construction but when finished it will be really beautiful. Apartment was wonderful, clean and spacious. Our family loved it! We even saw the northern lights right out our window! And you can walk around the building and see the beautiful ocean and a small black sand beach. Area felt very safe as well. Having washer and dryer was just what we needed. We also absolutely loved the food and ice cream place at the end of the street and the fact that it was open late! Thank you !

Very convenient location. Great for traveling with a rental car. Close to city center and easy to start the trip to the south or north. Close to main road yet very quiet and private. Beds are comfortable. Corner unit with lovely open views on the back. It has a private patio with furniture. Though we didn’t use as we spent most our time outside. Note refrigerator is filled with owners food. Though there is a section cleaned out for us to use, I would have liked maybe a separate small/dorm fridge in the kitchen. Overall a good stay at a decent price.

This place is absolutely lovely, spacious, and has an incredible view. My husband and I were delighted to spend time in this comfortable home and our hosts were very gracious and kind. Thank you!

We enjoyed our time in this nice and cosy house. Stunning view from the terrace and living room. It is really peaceful and beautiful. Guðný was very nice and helpful to make check in and out smooth and easy.

The scenery was amazing. It was wonderful to hang out on the porch, though admittedly a bit chilly in early October. The cabin was very cute, well laid out, clean, and with many small touches that made it wonderful. Only downside was that the hot water does have a strong sulfur smell and the kitchen sink is shallow resulting in water often spraying out of the sink due to the high water pressure. Aside from those two minor issues that place was perfect solitude. One other item to mention is that the nearby waterfall trail was very worthwhile. You park in the nearby small neighborhood and walk up an ATV trail. It was amazing to be the only people around the waterfall and to be able to hike further up the mountains.

We had a wonderful time in Iceland. From the accommodation you have many opportunities to do something. Active in nature and you are quickly in the city. Despite the cold, it was always nice and warm and cozy in the house. Our children loved the soft sofa and the hot tub very much.

My husband and I wanted to get away from the city and out in the country. This was the perfect place for us. The scenery around the cabin is breathtaking. We enjoyed the hottub and we're also able to view the Northern Lights on a few nights. The amenities inside were perfect and just what we needed. I was a little apprehensive about the shower being outside in a separate building, at first, but the water was hot and the pressure was excellent. Our stay was perfect and the communication with Vidar was top notch. Such a beautiful place.

Beautiful location, coze home with lots of seating. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Rogers place was so beautiful and slightly away from downtown Reykjavik that we were able to see the northern lights the first night! Highly recommend for a family or group trip to stay at with plenty of common space
