Private suite vacation rentals in Reykjavík

The hosts, Gerður and Óskar, were responsive and proactive in ensuring all was going well during my one week stay by checking in part-way through my stay. I appreciated the privacy given by both the location of the property and the hosts themselves. The location and property, located in Kópavogu, was exactly as described and it was a great jumping off point for exploring the surrounding rural areas and Reykjavik by car. Kópavogur is also more accessible to the airport (KEF) and south-western Iceland. I enjoyed discovering shops, restaurants and bakeries in Kópavogur as it is a more relaxed atmosphere than downtown Reykjavik which is also very accessible from this location. I loved the room! Very warm and cozy and everything was exactly as described. Lisa was super proactive and helpful. I even got a Christmas present :) Would definitely come again.

Place was cute and lovely, it was on a nice residential area close to the airport so very handy. We were given very clear instruction and tips so very helpful from the host ! It was shelf check-in so flexible and convenient.

Our stay here was perfect! Definitely the most private and homey feeling place we stayed at. The welcome gifts we received were so nice!! Jaime was super communicative and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure was amazing. Loved being able to explore outside of the main city while having a parking spot for the car we rented.

Helga's Couple Retreat, is a nice, private, and quiet stay in Reykjavik. My girlfriend and I are very active, so we enjoyed the walk into downtown and wherever else we needed to go. This place is in a neighborhood of Reykjavik, not on the tourist strip, so if you are not into walking there are plenty of scooters around or the local bus to grab. Having stayed on multiple sides of Reykjavik, this area was really nice for the quiet and hometown feel. I would definitely stay here again and hope to be back soon.

Andri was an amazing host. He was always kind and responsive, He shared pastries with me and always on top of things. The location of the accommodation was right near downtown so exploring was made so easy. The private bathroom is well-kept. Overall, it was an amazing stay. 10/10 recommend

Wow! What a fabulous stay, our first in Iceland! This was a first trip in a long time without our teenage children and it allowed us to look for a property that would accommodate only the two of us. We both loved the rental. It was an easy, beautiful 50-minute or so drive from the international airport and only about 15 minutes to drive into the capital where we had other worldly meals in the evenings among other cultural stops. Approaching the rental, there are beautiful mountains flanking one side of the road and a lovely church at the top of a hill on the other side. The area was peaceful and quiet. We discovered a nearby bakery for daily breakfasts (Mossfellsbakeri) that is heaven.on.earth. The rental was immaculate, the bed was SO comfortable, the decor beautiful, the tub a treat. We have been long-time Airbnb renters and this experience was truly a standout. Helga was so friendly, responsive & helpful! I hope we will return to stay here again sooner vs later!

Freyja’s accommodation was perfection. From the warm check-in with staff to the lovely stay, everything was perfect and thoughtfully tailored. The floors were heated and it was a cozy place to come to after a few days up north in the cold. Close to literally any and everything, I can't recommend it enough. It's the little touches that made it–the linens, the chocolates on the towel, the lovely staff. It was splendid.
