We had a great stay at Valias place, it is a beautiful villa, and exactly as described on the listing. The check in was really easy, and despite arriving at 4am, there was someone waiting for us to show us around. Valia was also really helpful with suggestions of restaurants and activities. I would recommend hiring a car to get around as it is not walking distance to anywhere really (not with 3 young children anyway).

This Airbnb was absolutely wonderful! It offers stunning sunrise views and a peaceful, private atmosphere—just far enough from the busy tourist areas while still being close to town. The buffet breakfast was both delicious and convenient. It’s perfectly located if you’re looking for a central base with easy access to beautiful beaches, Chania, and other nearby attractions. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, and made me feel right at home. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Agia Marina!

Hariklia is a traditional, family-run hotel on Crete Island in white and blue colours with lush bougainvilleas all around. The rooms are in two levels. Both levels have a shared balcony area for breakfast, surrounded by bougainvilleas with amazing view over the sea, mountains and the village. The hotel's location is ideal. It lays high a the top of the village, so you have a fantastic view over the sea, and at the same time easy access both to the beach and the center of Agia Galini.

The property is a restored 13th Century Olive Mill in the heart of Maroulas. We have two double rooms each with an en-suite in a separate annex to the main house (access is via the main house) Guests have exclusive use of all facilities including the pool, hot tub, garden, sunbeds and roof terrace. The rooms are well appointed with a king size bed, air conditioning, fridge, tea coffee facilities, toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes. Breakfast is included.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Idili Traditional House, we stayed in the Honeysuckle suite. Markos makes you feel like you are family, he is so warm and welcoming. The breakfasts are wonderful and his sister makes the best orange marmalade!! I would definitely recommend staying there!!

Excellent location, great breakfast, easy to communicate, very friendly, let us check in really early. Room is pretty basic and small but everything you need is literally outside the door. This place is right at the old Venetian port.

Ground Floor Room with en-suite and king-size bed

We had some wonderful days at the Old olive mill. Julie and Richard are very friendly and helpful hosts. We had lovely breakfast in the morning at the rooftop and relaxing time in the hot tub at night. The House and the rooms are beautiful furnished. In the typical mountain village Maroulas you have some lovely Taverns and the area around is great for a walk. The streets are full of historic buildings, cats and beauty. Maroulas is the perfect place to stay for a while. Its a short way (with the car) to the Beaches and also near to go to the wonderful town of Rethymno. Highly recommended Hope to come back soon! Meike
