Cabin vacation rentals in Renfrew

My son and I rented a place last year from Alison that set the tone really high for any future air b&b experiences and despite that one being an absolute blast we somehow were treated to an even more amazing experience at The Treehouse Cabin! This had everything we could have asked for, children's playstructure, fire pit, hot tub, hammock and chairs, outdoor seating, a gorgeous view of the water that we even managed to go swimming in despite it being early May. Awesome right? We haven't even touched on the interior. The cottage has the sort of charm that only these two could put on. Beautiful interior, Alison's best pillows,throw blankets, comfortable seating etc. Not to mention the fantastic carrot cake that I had been hoping for since last years rental! The master bedroom was about as relaxing a sleep as one could hope for and the cottage had everything one could possibly need. Before leaving we booked the cottage again! Thanks for giving us memories that will last forever!

A truly lovely getaway that was perfect for our cottage weekend! The loft, natural light and hot tub in particular made our stay so cozy and relaxing. Melissa was so responsive and flexible for our check in/out which made the trip even easier. Would come back for sure!

We loved it! The cottage is located in a private area on the lake, well-decorated, and has 4 levels making it very spacious. The hottub and sauna were awesome - perfect for our winter stay. We liked the couch in the downstairs living room as it was big and comfortable, and we appreciated the Roku for easy streaming. We had no issues driving to the cottage even after heavy snowfall - the private road and driveway were cleared. Walkways, stairs and decks were also cleared. Plenty of room outside for walks with a dog and other activities. We would highly recommend Siobhan’s cottage!

Wanda’s cozy little cabin was the perfect spot for a relaxing winter getaway! Her place exceeded the photos, as soon as we walked in Wanda already had the wood stove fireplace going so that the place was warm and cozy when we arrived. She was extremely pleasant and responsive when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! Would definetley recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

Wonderful place to spend some relaxed days in the beautiful Canadian nature. The cottage was fully equipped, neat, cozy and lovingly decorated. Exactly as shown on the pictures. Nothing was missed. Charlotte and Cindy replied within shortest time and provided all relevant information well in advance. We enjoyed the stay from the first minute and couldn't imagine a better place for our vacation. Hope to come back!

Prunella No.4 A-frame cabin is a gem. Nancy and Catherine are amazing hosts - they provided everything we needed to feel at home. They even had all the amenities for our pup, including a dog bed and bowls, which was a thoughtful touch. Their attention to detail, from the property, to the decor and lights inside and outside the cabin, the dock and everything at the lake, was perfect and made our stay a 5 star experience. We loved exploring the trails and taking the kayak and paddleboard out. We look forward to going back already.

Had an amazing stay in this cozy chalet with a beautiful lake and fall views full of colours! Gurmeet was very responsive and helpful. The drive to this place makes the experience even more beautiful and worthwhile. Will visit again!!

Absolutely amazing, we had great plans, but the ice storm and the cozy fireplace changed those plans. Hermann and Tracy were an absolute blast! Super chill, and super friendly, we would come back just to spend time with them! We had a cute visitor to come check up on us as well! We hope to be back, thank you hosting us Hermann and Tracy!

We had the best time staying at Alexandra’s. This location is beautiful, and there is so much wildlife to see. We took the kayaks out every day and enjoyed how serene the lake was. This was such a memorable trip for us and truly recommend Alexandra as a host for your next cottage stay.

Cozy intimate cottage for 2 on water's edge. Woke up to a beautiful view, can bird watch from bed. We went paddleboarding and the water was so calm and lovely.

What a wonderful escape! The water nearly surrounded the cottage and every direction you have a gorgeous view. Our days were spent on the lake in the kayak exploring the area. The water was so clear that you could see all the fish. Our dogs loved the area and the swimming. The area was private, and had everything we needed. We hope to return next summer!

The cottage was amazing. the shore to go into the water is so clean and sandy making it easy to swim or launch kayaks. we had a great time. The walk around the cottage was also pretty. On a clear night we were able to see the stars which was the best thing. the amenities and rooms were super comfortable as well. definitely coming back to this. one thing to note would be the timings to dispose the garbage and recycling and Co ordinate it accordingly with your check out time.

We had the perfect stay while at “Rowe’s Cabin” starting the new year in a quiet and peaceful setting. The hosts shared the story of the land and the cabin, including its history, adding to the experience and atmosphere for us that we really valued. They recommended going to Barron Canyon and we made sure to make a stop on our way out and it was the perfect ending to or trip, we were the only ones on the trail making it so much more whimsical. We snowshoed around the cabin and quietly sat in the window, playing uno, in the evening watching deer and wildlife coming up to the cabin for an hour or two. It had snowed the day we got there so it felt extra disconnected and relaxing. The hosts made sure we felt comfortable and safe in the cabin, we often are out in the woods during all times of the year and the hosts make this cabin experience in the woods fun and within reach to anyone new to the being in the woods or have more experience in the woods.

Really good place to live, the place had everything you can ask for kayaking, fireplace, bikes, trails to try. The place was really nice, radek took so much time to work on the place and it was one of the most beautiful place I’ve stayed in. Really enjoyed my time there. Thank you radek :)

We had the best time staying with Caroline and her family - they were so approachable, friendly and knowledgeable about their animals. Our little girl was obsessed with the cows and alpacas and we were lucky enough to have a guided tour and meet them all. The apartment was stunning and so comfortable we can't thank you enough!

This was my second year staying at Guy's, you can be sure I'll keep on making that 3.5 hour drive from Montreal every year. We found out that there's trout lakes in the area that are stocked yearly. I've yet to try their charted fishing service, but it's on my things to do list. Guy is quick to respond to any of our question, you will be in safe hands on your stay. I'll probably try and book a second trip up before the summer is over, hoping the schedule isn't all booked up.

This place exceeded all our expectations. The host is phenomenal. His responses were always fast, extremely friendly and understanding. He was very accommodating with our date changes (due to a military move) and made our process super easy. The place is stunning. Even better than the pictures. It’s open, spacious, with lots of modern, high end touches. I have already been recommending this place to all my friends. It’s a must stay- in the winter or summer. Very peaceful and relaxing

This is a wonderful and cozy cabin experience for a group of 4. The place has a lovely history and is preserved that way with attention to aesthetics that take you back in time. Debbi is a warm host and although we didn’t get to meet in person she was quick to respond and provided all the necessary details during our stay. Good parking space, private location and beautiful nursery and nature around the property. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Algonquin provincial park during the fall season. The cottage was peaceful, private, and fully stocked with all the daily use stuff we forgot to pack (a lifesaver, honestly). Only letdown? The weather. Still, the vibes were right, and we made the most of it. Definitely would book again.
