Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes, which is located in Farsund municipality. Skipperhuset was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, among other things by wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper's house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is wall to wall with the brewery that has a renovated oven.

Small Presteskjær Lighthouse

Lighthouse from 1895 with a dwelling and apartment in the tower itself. The building is established on a shear at the end of Rekefjord. Original fixtures from the time when the lighthouses with family lived in the lighthouse. The lighthouse has a kitchen, bathroom and toilet, living room, stalls, atrium with panoramic views, 3 bedrooms and small kitchen that has been converted into extra bedrooms. Newly renovated ,stylish and functional annex in central Flekkefjord. It is located in a busy area,but appears well sheltered and isolated. Parking right outside. Nice little and warm patio and enjoy. Only 5 minutes walk to Flekkefjord city center and everything in the center. It is also close to restaurants and culture/open air offerings. Extremely versatile property that is great for singles,couples,couples and families with children. Can also fit workers. Bed linen is ready,but must be left on your own.

Welcome to Fjordbris! Here you can get an overnight stay in the scenic area of Dirdal with an unforgettable view. With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. All amenities are available either in the tiny house or in the basement of the shop Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg nearby. The farm sale was voted Norway's best farm shop in 2023 and is a small attraction in itself. Right next to it you will find a sauna that can be booked with an equally good view.

Enjoy a relaxing holiday with the whole family in our modern, high-standard cabin! This is our family cabin, which we use as often as we can, but we’re happy to share it when we’re not there. The cabin is spacious at 150 m², with four bedrooms and sleeping space for up to 11 guests—perfect for two families traveling together. In addition, a luxurious sauna with panoramic fjord and mountain views is scheduled for completion by spring/summer 2026. We hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we do!

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.
