Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Rekawa Lagoon

Nous avons passé un très bon moment chez Luca. La maison a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour passer un excellent repos. Vous pourrez observer les quelques animaux qui se promènent librement dans le jardin. La piscine est un gros plus dans la chaleur du Sri Lanka. La maison est incroyablement propre et les gens qui y travaillent sont très gentils. Nimesh vous aidera avec toutes vos questions, vous pouvez le contacter à tout moment. Il nous a emmenés changer de l'argent, nous a montré où se trouvaient les meilleurs endroits pour dîner et a organisé toutes les excursions pour nous. Il s'est également occupé de notre voyage et est venu nous chercher à l'aéroport. Tout le long, nous avons pu profiter des merveilleux dîners préparés par Nirosha dont un excellent barbecue de fruits de mer. La maison est très bien placée : seulement à quelques pas de la plage et de tous les restaurants/boutiques. N’hésitez pas à réserver votre séjour au sein de cette maison, c’est un véritable petit paradis.

Vi hadde et flott opphold hos Marco og vennen hans. Vi ble godt tatt imot av Sajeeva, som var veldig gjestfri. Han ga oss fine tips og var alltid i nærheten dersom det skulle være noe. Rommene var flotte, og interiøret var veldig gjennomført. Barna elsket stedet og følte seg veldig trygge. Det beste med oppholdet var at vi bidro til det flotte prosjektet de driver. Jeg synes det er helt fantastisk at de gir barn muligheten til å gå på skole. Jeg kommer helt klart tilbake og ønsker å følge med på utviklingen av skolen og den nye kaféen. Jeg håper dere setter opp en innsamlingsaksjon hvor folk kan bidra. Takk for oss😊

I stayed at Yunal's Place for 2 weeks and loved it! The family was generous and welcoming. They were flexible, allowing me to stay longer than I had initially booked. They also offered laundry services and transportation! Lasantha helped coordinate a ride from the train station for me before we met; I found this incredibly kind. I will definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend it :)

A villa nagyon szép, nagy szobákkal, kényelmesen elfér egy család. Szuper helyen van, óceán nagyon közel, csodálatos kilátással, nagyon csendes. Pár perc sétára vagy még gyorsabban tuk tukkal elérhetőek a csodálatos strandok, éttermek, zöldséges, bolt, kávézó. Tharushi nagyon kedves, mindenben segített (transfer, kirándulás, tuk tuk) mindig elérhető volt. Fantasztikus reggelit készített nekünk.

This was our favorite guest house during our two months in Sri Lanka, it is clean, spacious, kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the garden is beautiful (our 3 year old loved it), also Prageeth is a great and kind host. We stayed at Prageeth's place for almost two weeks and didnt want to leave. Yes, Mirissa beach is a little far (about 8 minute ride with bus or tuc tuc) but there are also local wild beaches nearby (I also recommend to check out Polhena beach which is same distance as Mirissa beach). Also there is a great restaurant (Zephyr) in about 5 minutes walk which I highly recommend as the food there was delicious. Also a small shop, meat shop, fish and vegetable stands are very close. Overall a highly recommended place.

Darshani's and Lucky's home is just amazing, we spent so goo time there! First of all, it is an entire floor (which is huge!) with your own private gate. The floor has a really big free space : wonderful chill zone with a lot of sofas, nice bedroom with a/c, bathroom and your own kitchen with all you need for daily cooking. There is also a dining table which is great as a workplace as well. In the living room there are some balconies and if you will open the doors you will feel a light cool breeze, so nice! The wi-fi is good for daily work as well. Location is nice, its close to the beach(10 min by bike) where you can swim with turtles. But the most important are hosts - Darshani and Lucky are so kind, caring and lovely. The will help with anything you need and even more! We had a wonderful time in their house and we would stay more, but it was already booked by another people for a several months, so you are lucky if you have an opportunity to book this amazing place.

This is an extremely cozy house! It is located a little bit deep from the main roads, so it is silence and calm here. I enjoyed here with birds, palms, nature sounds. I was surprised with small quantity of mosquitos here, but for your safety hosts provide you with mosquito net. Oh, God, how it's wonderful to sleep with open doors and windows here - it's smell, sounds..perfect! And to be honest I even didn't use a fan during night's, because the temperature was absolutely comfortable. The villa has rather good WiFi and if you are a remote worker it will suite to you (the day temperature is also good when you open windows and use fan, there is no necessity in AC). Hosts are absolutely cute and caring about you! But villa is located rather far from any shops and beaches (apr. 10 min by bike) - so bike or tuktuk are absolutely necessary here, and there is not a problem to reach this location. Having traveled the entire coast from Galle, I do not want to change this place of living.

Strávili jsme úžasných 12 nocí v krásném a čistém domě u výjimečných hostitelů Arta a Kamani. Rodina je super milá, ochotná, srdečná a má široký úsměv na tváři. Cítili jsme se od první chvíle jako doma. Hned po příjezdu nás čekal uvítací drink. Snídaně a večeře jsou špičkové a dostatečně velké, čerstvý džus, národními jídlo, ovoce, čaj, nebo káva, vše výborné. Kamani je skvělá kuchařka. Měli jsme tu také nejlepší kurz vaření. Také zajistili skútry. Dům je velice dobře umístěný pro objevování pláží Dikwella, Hiriketiya a Batigama Bay kde můžete plavat se želvami. Okolní pláže jsou koupací. Opravdu výjimečná rodina, vytvořili atmosféru péče, na naši žádost nikdy neřekli ne. Poslední den jsme měli celý den stravu zdarma a dostali svačinu na cestu. Starají se o každý detail pro vaše pohodlí, dostali jsme spoustu dobrých rad pro návštěvu okolí a především vás vítají jako člena své rodiny. Děkujeme Arte a Kamani! za vše co jste pro nás udělali, budeme na vás vzpomínat a všude doporučovat!

We stayed 2 nights at Casa MiJa, and totally loved every minute of it. Mani, caretaker for the villa was very helpful and made the entire experience worth it. He made sure we were at ease at all times and sorted anything and everything out for us that we needed any assistance with. The villa was amazing, and the location was perfect. Beautiful beach adjacent to it. The only drawback of it was the common areas of the villa do not have air conditioning, so with the weather running quite hot; we couldn’t use it or spend as much time there as we would have liked to. If they can fix that, this would be the best villa to stay at in the area. Everything else was amazing. Would definitely want to stay here again when I’m back in Mirissa, Sri Lanka.

My friend and me were lucky to spend a whole month in this little paradise and we had a wonderful time. The pool is amazing . The garden is magical. By night it turns into a sea of lights . Everybody was very friendly and it really felt like home . We were lucky to spend there a long period though small unpleasantries just melt in the whole sweet experience. Even it’s a calm place place located a little more far away from the town you will here music and co . There was a little construction work going on wich weren’t perfect , but In total I absolutely fell in love with this place and it’s people and their little dog Lolita . Thanks So much !!!

une villa parfaite, avec une situation parfaite juste quelques mètres de l'océan et de la ville et d'un quartier bien agréable l'accueil et le suivi par Irish est formidable et parfait. cette villa permet un repos profond et à des qualités top allez y sans retenue car elle vous permet d'être comme chez vous avec en plus une petite rue hyper calme restaurant à côté familial et prêt à toujours rendre service ( challenge hut) piscine impeccable et une eau parfaite si nous pouvions m'être 10 étoiles, nous le ferrions avec sincérité. 👌👍👏

The location of the house was absolutely stunning. Right on the beach which was empty and felt like our own was dreamy, peaceful and idyllic. Lakmal, Dulan and Nihal were so helpful and attentive to all our needs. The breakfasts and dinners Lakmal made every day were absolutely stunning! We had so much variety and a real taste of Sri Lankan cuisine. They looked after us so well and arranged tuk tuks for us when we wanted them. It’s worth taking toiletries as these weren’t provided but honestly i would absolutely recommend this house as a great base to do a morning safari and enjoy the peaceful surrounds. Great value for money!

I had a great stay at Prabodi’s place. I stayed for a week and she was very friendly and helpful. She arranged transportation for me from Colombo and helped me with laundry and bike rental. The place is clean and well maintained. It’s definitely worth the money. Highly recommend

Gaia Soul was actually the reason we wanted to go to Sri Lanka. And — (even though we never travel to the same places again) Gaia Soul will be the reason we have to go back. The pool and the skate ramp were so much fun. There are a lot of different hang out zones, so you will always find a comfortable spot. The place is so tidy and clean at all times. The exterior is really nice with the concrete and the orange and pink flowers. The garden areas are taken care og daily. There is a beautiful beach 5 minute walking distance. 
You can order food all day from the neighbour restaurant, that serves delicious traditional Sri Lankan food. (You have to try the curry with coconut sambol and the breakfast pancakes) Sanduni and her team will take care of you from you arrive until departure. We had two morning yoga sessions with Sarka. She is a great yoga teacher. It felt so special to just walk to the open jungle yoga studio in the beautiful wild surroundings. Thank you so much Baxter!

Unser Aufenthalt war rundum großartig. Einziger Wermutstropfen waren das Fehlen von Verdunkelungsvorhängen und die etwas zu festen Kissen. Rohan, der täglich zur Reinigung kam, war unglaublich freundlich und hat unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Die Sofabezüge könnten mal ausgewechselt werden. Ansonsten ist der Außenbereich makellos, genau wie auf den Fotos, und das gesamte Haus war sehr sauber.

Absolute paradise! This place had everything we were dreaming of and more. Beautiful surroundings, amazing pool, incredible beaches around, super nice and discreet staff and three adorable dogs, which is definitely a plus point to feel at home! CJ went out of her way to help us settle and feel comfortable, it was truly a memorable stay, thank you for everything!!

We really enjoyed our stay at FIVE. It's a really calm and beautiful beach, but vivid Hiriketiya and Tangalle are just 15 minutes Tuktuk ride away, so perfect to enjoy both worlds, bustling and calm. The whole staff was really nice and we enjoyed everything! Fully recommend a stay here.

We are staying at this villa for the second time, and it’s a very cozy place. The area is full of life, offering an authentic Sri Lankan village experience. The villa itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We especially love the second floor—having breakfast on the balcony has left a lasting impression on us. The special charm of the place comes from the proximity to Sanduni and her family. They are incredibly caring and always ready to help with any issues that arise. If you’re looking for an authentic, quiet, and cozy stay combined with modern amenities (such as high-speed internet, air conditioning, a washing machine, and hot water), this villa is exactly what you need.

I almost don't want to review this as I would like to keep the place a secret but that would be selfish! We couldn't recommend staying in Whispering House more. Upal and his son were incredible hosts, cooking us delicious breakfasts. The house was spacious and perfect for our 2 year old to run around in, and the pool was great and a safe distance away. The location was perfect for us, restaurants close by but also quite quiet. Beautiful beaches along the coast too made for great day trips. upal sorted us out with everything we needed including a lovely lady who came and cooked for us and helped look after our child in the afternoon. Really couldn't recommend this more if you are looking for a family holiday in a stunning location with lovely lovely people.

Ranjith ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber, immer um seine Gäste bemüht und besorgt. Die Villa mit dem wunderschönen und für uns, perfekten Garten ist schwer zu toppen. Geetha versorgt den Garten sehr liebevoll und unaufdringlich. Die Ausstattung mit den Ventilatoren auf der Terrasse und Klimaanlagen im Haus ist sehr durchdacht. Auch die Beleuchtung sorgt für sehr angenehme Stimmung. Wir haben uns schweren Herzens von Ranjith, Geetha und der wunderschönen Villa getrennt.

Yasitha and Srima are wonderful hosts and really lovely people, a lovely family. They were extremely helpful and kind and we loved staying with them. We had the whole upstairs and it is so lovely and everything we needed, you can cook if you like and Srima provided delicious breakfasts. Highly recommend staying with them if you want to feel right at home in Mirissa. Thank you Yasitha and Srima for a wonderful stay.

Had a lovely time in Hirikiya and the Rez really made me feel like home. Was traveling solo and wanted a quiet place to relax and feel safe. The place was super clean and had all essentials needed to cook etc. Very glad this place is not located on the main street since it gets a bit loud at night. However, it is super close to all restaurants and both beaches. There is also Yoga being offered 100m away on a beautiful roof of a hotel that I highly recommend attending.

Ravindu's place is very nice. If you're after a peaceful retreat from busier tourist spots this could be it.Its super clean,spacious,modern, and you have it all to yourself.Near to lagoon and beach.Nice fully equipped kitchen and huge private garden for relaxing.10 out of 10!
