Tiny house in private forest

KarlijnRating, 5 stars3 days ago
What a lovely cottage! The beautiful decor and the large windows bring nature inside. The area is beautiful. Joshua responds super quickly and was pleasant to communicate with. We'd love to come back.
An inviting outdoor area features wooden steps leading to a cozy seating arrangement, including a comfortable couch and decorative elements on the walls. Soft lighting enhances the space, creating a welcoming entrance to the chalet. Potted plants add a touch of greenery.

Chalet de Hooglander

EricRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great time, the accommodation matches the photos and description, a very nice tiny house, well-equipped. No problem for our dog either, he was comfortable. We didn't know this part of the Netherlands, but we'll be back, that's for sure!
An outdoor living space features a large wooden dining table surrounded by wicker chairs. Soft, ambient lighting hangs above, creating a warm environment. A wood-burning stove is seen in the background, and large glass doors open to a view of the garden.

Group location Groot Baarda

LisanneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a beautiful place to stay! The location is very quiet and special with views from every room, lots of light and a lovely garden. Marlies and her husband were welcoming and helpful. The decor was tasteful and cozy and even with many guests the house was spacious. In the kitchen there was plenty of crockery to cover nicely for a dinner in the house. Highlights were the ping pong table and (tuned) piano!
A snowy scene captures a windmill beside a tranquil river. Fluffy snow covers the rooftops of nearby houses and the ground, creating a serene landscape. The bridge in the distance can be seen emerging through the snowfall, enhancing the peaceful winter atmosphere.

Idyllic cottage by the river

Anke Und ArnoRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We were there for an extended period of time. The location is fantastic, you can sit right by the water in sunshine and enjoy a coffee and watch the ships. The dog also felt comfortable and was able to run around freely. The back of the garden is fenced. The neighborhood is very nice and very helpful. Apart from a pizzeria and a grill snack bar, there is unfortunately no way to eat and drink somewhere in the evening, unless you drive 10 km further, but since we had a bicycle with us, (there are also two available there) that was no problem for us and you can find out in advance what you want to do in the area, or what is offered. As Simone has already described for 1.90 m tall people, like we are, it was a challenge upstairs, but we knew that before, because it was in the listing. All in all, a beautiful cottage, rustically furnished and in the kitchen everything is available and a very nice hostess.
An antique wall-mounted sink is shown, featuring a rustic metal basin with a worn, textured surface. The sink is connected to the wall, highlighting its vintage design. Light reflects softly off the smooth edge of the basin, contributing to the overall historic charm of the piece.

A hidden gem in Friesland

LisaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We booked this stay as a gift for my parents. The cottage is cozy, clean and fully furnished. Everything you need is present – from fine lighting to good blackout curtains and a lovely bed. The bathroom was fresh and comfortable, with a nice shower and plenty of towels. The garden is spacious and quiet, with a cozy seating area. Inside there are fun games, which is a nice alternative to a TV. The kitchen is compact, but practical with, among other things, an air fryer and stove. The only downside: there was no freezer compartment. The contact with Anita was excellent. She is very friendly, welcomes you warmly and had decorated the cottage extra nicely for the occasion. She also gave nice tips about the area. The location is quiet, yet close to Dokkum and Leeuwarden. Parking was also easy. All in all, a very successful stay.
