Fantastic location with all the comforts of home!!! Great stay for a family looking to enjoy the beautiful area!!!

Larry and his property were so wonderful. I came as the only adult with 4 girls ranging from age 9 to 17 and I believe they loved it every bit as much as me. Larry talked with the girls and let them know where they were able to explore and what they could have access to. Our plans were to hike and hunt waterfalls, but bc of the fires, two of the parks were closed so we have to change plans. Larry was very helpful with suggestions. When we needed and couldn't find the air mattress, Larry was quick to answer and help out. The property was just so wonderful and I'm grateful for our time there.

Very helpful and responsive. Made sure I made it safe and even volunteered her husband to come help me with the hot tub if needed.

We had a great time here. The location was perfect, very walkable to downtown. The loft was extremely clean and had everything we needed.

We loved staying here! Only problem was that it went too fast! Very cozy and felt right at home. Many different spots to hangout, the spiral staircase leading to the game room downstairs was just so cool and fun, and lastly - BEAUTIFUL views all around. Can't wait to visit again.

We are so lucky to have found this home for our weekend in the mountains to attend a family wedding! The location was perfect and our stay was cozy and just what was needed. Everything was abundant—from towels and linens to fresh air and white squirrels! This is truly a special home with great hosts.

You know when you find a place that is so amazing you don't want to tell anyone else about it? This is it! The house is exactly as described in the listing/photos and has everything you could possibly need during your stay. It was so cozy to lounge in the living room or enjoy the amazing screened porch while listening to the creek. We were able to cook meals in the well thought out kitchen and slept great in the comfy beds. I spent every morning with a blanket and book in one of the egg chairs... heavenly relaxation :) The scavenger hunt was very unique and let these 80's kids feel like the Goonies we always wanted to be! We can't wait to visit again, thank you for everything!

Marisa’s house is a beautiful cabin that was worth every penny. It is convenient to Brevard and the Pisgah Forest for the fishing and outdoor enthusiast. Marisa was very accommodating to my group and was prompt to responding to messages. The house was clean and lacked no amenities. The kitchen was well furnished with pots, pans, etc. and linens were plentiful. I would recommend Marisa’s place for anyone hoping to get away and stay in a beautiful part of North Carolina.

We loved our stay - it was perfect for our group with young kids. The large kitchen/dining area especially felt very open. Chad was very responsive both before and during our stay.
