Sara's Cabin

The Cabana da Sara, finished in June '25, was designed and built by ourselves. Sustainability played a major role in this. We chose a lot of windows so that nature is always close even if you are sitting comfortably inside. The cottage is (ecologically) insulated and equipped with infrared heating, a pleasant and welcome warmth during the sometimes cold Northern Portuguese winters. The cottage is located on our meadow, at the bottom of our property. You are surrounded by greenery and silence.

Access is made (in the last 500 meters) by land and it is necessary to pay attention to the directions we provide so that you do not get lost.

Refúgio das Poldras is located in Vilar de Viando, right on the banks of the Cabril River, one of the cleanest rivers in the region. Excellent for bathing, swimming, or simply walking along more than 2 km of the Cabril River. It is located about 2 km from the center of the village if you want to walk along the Roman road. The bungalow features a double bed with a unique view of the river, a kitchenette for light meals, a bathroom with shower, and a suspended deck.
