In the countryside of Gendt, near the floodplains of the Waal, lies our lovely house and spacious garden. Centrally located between Arnhem and Nijmegen. Spread throughout the orchard of approx. 5000m2 are various picnic benches. Here you can enjoy the absolute peace and sounds of nature. The sheep and chickens roam around in their own meadow (fresh eggs every day) and all around you you see and hear birds. The house offers 250m2 of living space and is equipped with all conveniences.

The house is contemporary furnished with water views. There are 5 different terraces including 2 cozy porches, 1 with a wood stove. Guests experience the bathroom with a rain shower as a wellness area. In the spacious bedroom on the ground floor there is a king-size 2- and a good single bed. On the first floor is a double bed in a separate open space. The large lawn is available for a delicious game of football or badminton!

Nice house with lots of space on the ground floor. The extra bedroom on the ground floor is very convenient for children or the elderly due to the toilet on the ground floor. For 7 adults, spacious sleeping places, but parts of the bathroom on the 1st floor and toilet on the ground floor. Spacious kitchen with lots of crockery and glasses. Good starting point for this part of Achterhoek. Parking space with 2 loading areas directly opposite the house. Loading area for the dogs in the forest at 1 km walk or parking spaces for the car.

the place is a gem as it is a historic house, feels lukt entering another time. it's the house of the hosts and yet so big that it feels like a separate house. we had booked for 3 people, with our 12 year old daughter, and as there was space she could get another room. Which was lovely as it could have been tight fit the 3 of us in a room. Wilhelmina and het husband are very friendly and helpful. we visited Xanten and had a lot to do on the area. very recommended

The host was incredibly kind and responsive, making sure everything was perfect during my stay. The location was also great close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The accommodation and location were fantastic, and we had an amazing weekend. The host was also incredibly friendly. However, on the administrative side, the prices for this type of accommodation in the Netherlands are quite steep compared to neighboring countries. Additionally, the experience of having both Belvilla and Airbnb involved was less than ideal. There was poor communication, and a lot of finger-pointing when Belvilla asked for extra money for bed linens, while Airbnb claimed it was included in the price.

We had a very relaxing stay at Enneke's place. We didn't meet them ourselves, but from time to time other guests. The room under the roof was small but very cozy. There are 2 toilets and a large bathroom as well as a well equipped kitchen. The house itself is beautiful, flooded with light and in a good area. By bike, you can reach Arnhem in 20-30 minutes, but the rest of the surroundings also invite you to great excursions. I'd love to come back, thank you!
