Tamara's place has a lovely outlook onto the canal. It was lovely to sit and watch either from the deck or the lounge room the goings on in the canal. Swans, ducks, coots and cormorants were regularly on the water. It's a lovely spot and an easy walk to the Raymond Island ferry (which is free for pedestrians) which has a wonderful Koala Trail walk. We also walked to 'SARDINE dining' which is a wonderful fine dining restaurant in Paynesville. Tamara's place was exactly as described and communication was quick and easy. I would recommend to other travellers.

Ingrid & Richad’s place is literally, an excellent place to stay. It's all about nature and creativity. Ingrid and Richard are not only very friendly but also very supportive. It deserves more than 5 stars, but unfortunately, Airbnb doesn't have enough stars to rate. I highly recommend their place to everyone.

Lovely house. We had a great weekend away here. Great yard and so much to do with kids! We loved walking down along the water and we loved being outdoors and playing in the cubby or basketball. The house was so nice and cozy.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The place was immaculate and spotless, and it can comfortably accommodate two families. Do note that towels and bed linen are not provided, so be sure to bring your own. The location is fantastic — just a 2-minute walk to the shore. We especially enjoyed our night-time strolls on the beach under the stars — truly magical. The upstairs master bedroom with ensuite and balcony was perfect for relaxing and soaking in the quiet surroundings. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals at home, which was important since there aren’t many restaurants nearby. There is a FoodWorks mini-supermarket close by, but we did our main shopping in Sale on the way to Paradise Beach. Greg was a fantastic host — prompt, helpful, and responsive to all our questions. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we’d definitely love to come back again!

Lovely long weekend away at Sunnyside 1. Everything you need was provided. What you see in the photo is what you get, super cute and very comfy. The bed was one of the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in in a long time. Sunnyside is close to everything, with a short walk to the beach and shops. Highly recommended.

Stephen’s place was excellent and perfect in every way. Stephen was a great host and Bobby the dog was too. The place was cozy and has everything you need for your stay. This cottage was a lovely get away and just what our family needed. We have a border collie pup who loved hanging in the yard watching the animals. Our son loved collecting firewood for the fire pit! We didn’t stay long enough to explore the short walk to the beach, we’d come back again just to have out at Eagle Point. Kate was amazing, approving an additional night stay at the last minute!

We stayed at Ben's holiday home for a birthday longer weekend getaway. We loved it! The place was secluded and relaxing. Our doggo loved her long beach walks and fetch each day. The hydrotherapy spa was fantastic and the outside bathtub under the stars was an added special touch for a perfect, peaceful weekend away. The kitchen is really well equipped - it had everything you could possibly need to cook and bake. Outdoor dining settings were great. Ben has done a great job at making use of the space to give it a feel of being both homely and luxurious. The coffee machine was fantastic and allowed us to enjoy staying in our own peaceful bubble for the time away. We really enjoy the less touristy, quiet sleepy beach towns this part of the world. It's also only a 25 minute drive to some nice walks around the lakes in Loch Sport. Thanks again Ben. We hope to be back one day.

Lovely stay! Property was close walking distance to the action in town. They were so kind as to set the porta cot up for our toddler before we arrived which took away the stress after our long drive. Didn’t spend much time at the house, but when we were having some down time there, the lounge room and outdoor area was awesome!

What a breathtaking view!! My family and I (group of 6 with 2 young children) had such an enjoyable stay at Karen’s. You can see panorama view of lake from two out of three rooms and view from balcony is just stunning. Clean and functional kitchen, comfortable couch and beautiful lounge room and beautifully set up bedrooms, not to mention clean bathrooms. There are two car parking space. Karen is a great, caring and responsive host. Highly recommend the stay, we sure hope to be back when we’re in the area again next. Thank you Karen :)

Robyn’s house exceeded our expectations by a landslide!! The house is absolutely stunning, Robyn has thought of every little thing that you may need, from every kind of kitchen utensil to laundry bags and soaps. The bed was so comfy and the house was cleaner than any hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Not a single spec of dirt anywhere, even the outdoor bath was immaculate (and so lush!!). Finally, Robyn as a host may just be the most considerate Airbnb host EVER. We entered the house to find homemade ice cream, beer and wine, crackers and dip, honey and jams etc. The generosity and thoughtfulness of these hosts is next level and I cannot thank them enough for making our stay so comfortable and special. We will absolutely be back, thank you Robyn!! 😊

My partner and I went down for a quiet weekend away from the city. Melantha was super responsive from the start of our booking till the end. Had everything exactly as listed and provided information on additional material as well such as the firepit and the facilities such as the BBQ were easy to use. Almost all basics were included. The place was beautiful, quiet and cosy. Would definitely recommend for a private getaway

We stayed at Maria’s place for two nights, hoping to get a breath of fresh air away from our busy, hectic city life—and it was absolutely perfect. There was plenty of space for the kids to run around and play, while the adults could relax, unwind, and enjoy the peaceful sounds and sights of beautiful birds chirping all around. The setting was serene, calming, and exactly what we needed. Couldn’t have asked for more!

House on Hill is a beautiful blend of Hygge and Wabi-Sabi, set against the peaceful backdrop of the Australian bush. The craftsmanship and care that went into creating this place are so clear and deeply appreciated. Every detail felt deliberate and meaningful, from the door handles to the building envelope. We especially loved cooking and showering outdoors, meeting their lovely dog Blue, and exploring the property with its gorgeous views. Communicating with Margot and Co. was a total joy - we'd highly recommend them as hosts.

Clean, not far from the beach. There is a general store (Foodworks) round the corner that provides basic amenities and some food. Easy walk to the beach. It's a lovely comfortable place to stay. We had all we needed in the home, telescope and toys for kids were a nice touch. There is a long bath indoors and outdoors which is a hit with the kids. Fair warning, there were a lot of flies, not something that the host can control and it's what you do get living at the beach. They get in when you open the doors so do be quick. Maybe bring a fly swatter if you find using fly spray/ elastic bands to not be your choice of weapon. We managed to take out over 30 flies indoors but it's a constant battle. Overall a fantastic place to stay, highly recommended and will come back again.

Lovely holiday house overlooking the sea. Very quiet and peaceful location with lots of birds and wildlife. The house was big and well equipped. The host Angela was very responsive and helpful. Everything worked and there were lots of different areas inside and out to relax in. Walking distance to the beach and lake, and also good food at the pub and excellent coffee at The General store. Beautiful area very close to Lakes Entrance for fishing and shopping. Lots of walks and jetties on Lake Tyers. We caught a lot of fish including snapper and salmon in the ocean. Great location for a relaxing holiday. Would highly recommend!

It was a wonderful family stay at Metung closer to the Hot Springs. Lot of appliances and essentials are provided at the home. It was a memorable stay for a large group of family and friends.

Spectacular! This place was even better than the pictures, reviews and description. It suited our family perfectly with plenty of space, yet great areas where we could come together as well. The wildlife was amazing and I could have sat out on the daybed the whole stay just watching nature! The kids had plenty to do and were able to get their short fix of screens in their down time. We can not recommend Andrew and Hilary's place highly enough, it was just perfect for us in every way! I really hope we can get back there one day! Mel and Mark (Qld)

We enjoyed Jessica's place. short track to walk down to the beach which was pretty deserted. Fully fenced for our dogs. Saw kangaroos and parrots. Great coffee machine. Bring drinking water as they are on tank water. Great fire pit.

We spent 3 nights and explored Metung and surroundings. Jess’s place was perfect for us it had everything that we needed. It’s 5mins walk from the main town area and the lake, our daughter loved the splash park. House was very clean and Jess was very responsive and accommodating with our request for late check in. Thank you we had a great stay.
