Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Rangitikei District

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and well-equipped property. The house was spotless, cozy, and perfectly located—close to town yet peaceful with stunning views. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the outdoor area was great for relaxing. One highlight was the spa pool—a great addition to the property. However, the water felt a bit over-chlorinated, which meant we couldn’t stay in for more than 10 minutes at a time. That’s just a small detail in an otherwise perfect stay, and I’m sure it’s something that can be easily adjusted. Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ohakune. It’s a wonderful spot, and we would happily return in the future!

We had a great stay. The remote location and wood burning stove plus wood burning hot tub made things feel very cozy and unique. We had a blast keeping the fires going and spending time in the tub on the deck and watching deer and birds go by. Highly recommend the experience!

Exceeded our expectations - well-equipped, warm, beautiful, lots of room yet so cosy - perfect holiday home for our family getaway. The stunning view we got to wake up to was definitely the cherry on top. Bev is also super responsive and helpful. Will definitely be back!

The host is very nice and great communicator. The house was perfect for us and a great space for everyone. Nice private and fenced off. The spa was good to have as well. Definitely will book again when we come home to stay.

Megs place was perfect for our girls trip. Comfortable and Clean. Lovely beds and linen. Walking distance to lots of cafes and restaurants. The Spa was a bonus. A smart TV would have made the place perfect, but a very minor detail in the scheme of things. Thanks Meg!

This was my second stay at Ohm home, the first time being 5 years ago when I stayed here for 7 days on my own. This time was with my partner and since staying here the first time I’ve always raved about this stay and looked fondly back at the photos I’d taken. As great as the place looks from photos, nothing is as incredible and picturesque as actually being there and wow did it still amaze me being back again. The home itself is amazing, spotlessly clean with all the amenities and some very nice extra touches to make the stay that much nicer. The views and environment there are truly special and unique and I’ve not found any other place to be able to so easily feel at peace and truly switch off and relax. We will definitely be staying here again and I don’t think there will ever be another stay and experience even close to Ohm home. Feilding House is a grand 100 year old home that has been lovingly restored so it is able to be enjoyed. The workmanship and attention to detail is stunning. The bedrooms are huge with luxurious linen and a feeling of opulence. The whole house is spacious and functional, while giving you a feeling of being back in time. The new bathroom is very spacious with a lovely big spa bath to enjoy. The huge kitchen with up to date appliances is wonderful to cook in. We certainly enjoyed using the pool and outdoor space.
