myself and grandchildren loved Cecile's place..homely and has everything our lil family needed even the extras of brekky stuff, spreads, bread, milk ..truly appreciated when showing up with X4 young children ..We had a dip in pool abit cool at this time of year but refreshing ..

Feilding House is a grand 100 year old home that has been lovingly restored so it is able to be enjoyed. The workmanship and attention to detail is stunning. The bedrooms are huge with luxurious linen and a feeling of opulence. The whole house is spacious and functional, while giving you a feeling of being back in time. The new bathroom is very spacious with a lovely big spa bath to enjoy. The huge kitchen with up to date appliances is wonderful to cook in. We certainly enjoyed using the pool and outdoor space. Thank you for sharing your beautiful historical house.

This was the perfect house for our family to stay. It had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable & there was plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy. The view of the mountain was beautiful.

Was a short stay as we arrived late evening and left early morning to catch the first shuttle to The Tongariro Crossing but house was very nice to settle into. Very clean and orderly. All appliances we needed. Will be nice to stay longer next time! Thanks Maree :)

Megs place was perfect for our girls trip. Comfortable and Clean. Lovely beds and linen. Walking distance to lots of cafes and restaurants. The Spa was a bonus. A smart TV would have made the place perfect, but a very minor detail in the scheme of things. Thanks Meg!

Such a stunning space! Beautifully appointed and thoughtfully furnished, every detail is immaculate. Everything was pristine. On a clear day, the view is absolutely breathtaking. The hot tub after a long day of hiking is the perfect touch—so relaxing. It’s a peaceful retreat, yet just a short walk along the river to charming cafes and restaurants. The location couldn’t be better.

The accommodation was amazing for a large group. House has an awesome lay out, super spacious living area and kitchen, comfy beds, and warm and toastie. Bridget’s communication was great at all times, highly recommend to stay here!

This was truly a beautiful location and a perfect place to stay. The house is very new and is fitted out with all the modern conveniences that made our stay a delight, with comfortable beds, plenty of lounge seating and everything you need to make you comfortable. We enjoyed the double sided fireplace and especially loved a quick dip in the hot tub, which was kept in immaculate condition. There was also an amazing restaurant in town that we thoroughly enjoyed called Cypress Tree and would highly recommend guests visit as part of their stay. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Thanks for a lovely stay!

This place is amazing!!! Beautifully appointed, clean, comfortable, and inviting. We looked forward to “coming home” from our excursions each day. We soaked in the bath and hot tub, puzzled, and cooked a feast using the provided rolling pin and 1 of the pie pan options. We would gladly stay here again!

We had a great stay. The remote location and wood burning stove plus wood burning hot tub made things feel very cozy and unique. We had a blast keeping the fires going and spending time in the tub on the deck and watching deer and birds go by. Highly recommend the experience!

Lovely peaceful home, relaxed, comfortable and great retro vibe as listed. Kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed, we loved having the fire going and relaxing until the weather cleared. We were a party of 5, but plenty of room upstairs for more friends next time! Beautiful mountain water to drink as well which we appreciated. Thank you so much.
