With everything you need provided to make yourselves breakfast. It's a 15min walk (3 minutes by car) to the centre of Feilding where the farmers markets are held on Fridays. 7-minute drive to Manfeild Park 16-minute drive from Palmerston North airport. Located on State Highway 1... 2 hours south of Taupo, 2 hours north of Wellington & 1 hour to Ohakune. Enjoy a wine on the deck looking out at the operating sheep and beef farm. Misty Mountain Hut - Ruapehu

Misty Mountain Hut-Ruapehu is located in the sleepy little village of Rangataua, 5 minutes distance to Mountain road going up to the Turoa skifield and Ohakune. The 1 bedroom colonial villa has a beautiful view of the mountain. Unlimited wifi and a new firebox with plenty of firewood to ensure you are warm in winter. My favourite time here is summer for amazing walks/cycling up mountains to enjoy majestic views. Misty Mountain Hut supports local staff by paying $40/hr for cleaning.

A small peaceful town with a big heart, our town offers time away from the city. Nestled 20 minutes from Dannevirke in a quiet suburb with a domain in the backyard if you feel like a stroll and take in the view. You can grab a meal and mingle with the friendly locals at the Black Dog pub, a 5 minute walk down the road, open Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, or stay and swing in the hammock, and cook on the BBQ if you prefer a quiet night in. Larger cities 1 hour drive away.
