The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

The house has been completely renovated with underfloor heating and an open fireplace. Kirkebakken 4 is an old house, where renovation has been done with respect for the house, therefore there is a difference in level on the ground floor as well as stairs to the 1st floor. Cozy 1st floor apartment on our farm, located in a rural setting. The home is centrally located in East Jutland, 18 km from Aarhus C and 9 km from the access to the highway E45. The apartment includes a south/east-facing terrace, where it is possible to grill or light the fire. The space can accommodate four guests. We have a sweet, child-friendly and quiet dog, as well as four domesticated cats, who walk freely on the property. The dog and cats are not allowed in the apartment.

We have table and chairs in front of the house, for a cup of coffee - other seatings in the yard are reserved for our neighbors and ourselves.

Separate toilet. Kitchen with stove , fridge / freezer and dishwasher. In the lovely bright living room are comfortable leather furniture and a cozy rocking chair. Beside the house is a small path leading to one of the best beaches in Aarhus region.
