Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Rancho San Diego

I've made three trips to San Diego in the past year. I stayed in two different airbns; one being this one, one downtown, and one upscale hotel, 7th floor bayside downtown. This was my favorite spot by far. Even if your business or pleasure is downtown (we do Padres), the uber fares or car rental is worth it to stay out in El Cajon at this spot. It is immaculate, beautifully decorated, and so peaceful. The hill view, quiet, and night and morning sounds are great. Nice view of the city lights. Almost too many areas/seating spots in the house to decide where to have your coffee or your drink. Neighbors waved, hot tub maintenance knocked on the door to check in, etc. The only issue was uber/delivery having trouble finding the house because there is a road that was likely once open but is now private, so they go to the wrong spot. I loved it here.

Our home away from home. The property was conveniently located to major stores. It is 30 minutes to the San Diego Zoo, Birch Aquarium, and Sesame Street. The house is very spacious and brings in light energy. Our family loved the beds and comfy pillows which can make or break a vacation. The bathrooms were spacious and worked conveniently with the needs of our family, especially the Bluetooth speaker😁. The backyard was our favorite! Beautiful space during the day with plenty of space for our 3 year old to run. Serene and chill views in the evening. We 100% recommend this property for your family. And would definitely stay again.

We had an incredible stay at Miguel’s Airbnb! The highlight was definitely the pool – it was sparkling clean and well-maintained. Everything was exactly as described, and Miguel was a fantastic host, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, private and hassle-free getaway!

The house is so beautiful, felt super Comfortable and at home! Host always responded to small questions, and was provided with everything you need for the stay!

Thank you so much to Jennifer and her family for our stay! We came out to Ramona to go to our family reunion. It was the perfect location for us because our family was about 10mins or less away from the farm. Very family friendly spot. My two little ones LOVED the farm. I think I might have to get a goat because my daughter was and still is obsessed with piper. We did a farm tour and it was so beautiful seeing the animals up close. Jennifer was super responsive and our stay was just overall amazing. The basket of goodies were very much appreciated too!! The house was clean and the beds were so comfy. Waking up early and watching the sun rise, listening to the birds and the fog was my personal favorite as we don’t get fog out in Vegas. 10/10 recommend this air bnb. It’s convenient, peaceful and the perfect getaway from the city too. Thank you to Sweet Heart Farms! You are forever in our hearts and this is a trip we won’t forget!

Great place to stay and relax. The house has everything you would need. The hosts are very responsive in helping whenever needed.

We have stayed in many different types of homes both good and bad. But, I’ve gotta say “This one has been BY FAR, THE BEST”!! The view as well as the house is absolutely amazing. The design of the home is gorgeous. The house was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. I must mention the squatty potties and bidet’s in the bathrooms… SUPERB!! Before booking my reservation, I asked Van if I could have my family and friends (about 10 people) come over after a graduation ceremony and he said yes. He even accommodated us with extra tables and chairs. My friends and family all loved the place. Van always replied to my messages no matter the time of day or night. There was a hiccup with the fire alarms in the house which was completely out of Van’s control, but he handled it well. He personally appeared to resolve the issue. Meeting Van in person did not disappoint. He is as nice in person as he is in messages. We are definitely going to come back.

My stay was awesome..couldn’t really enjoy the amenities as much as I wanted due to our personal itinerary that kept us busy. (Father’s Day weekend) However, I was able to sneak in the jacuzzi once and enjoyed it. Thanks for having us

This home was perfect for our intergenerational family gathering. There was space (and enough bathrooms) to accommodate all of us without being in each other's way but also being able to gather in our larger family group when needed. The location with views of the mountains was relaxing and reenergizing for the holiday with family members coming from all over. Although there were various spaces throughout the house, the kitchen area was a definite gathering space and accommodated well for people to be together and doing different things: cooking and preparing a meal, sitting and chatting, working on a laptop, reading in the family room not too far away. I appreciated the communication prior, throughout, and after our stay.

Beautiful property and surroundings. Loved all of the plants and fruit trees around the property! The pool and hot tub were well kept and we had a blast! We were a big group, I loved how many lounge areas this property had. We never felt cramped or like we didn’t have space/chairs for everyone. Beds were super comfortable - way more comfortable than you usually expect at a rental. The host was super responsive and it seemed like they had thought of everything!

The house was perfect to have family over to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from UCSD. The house is beautiful and very well equipped to accommodate a large group. Thank you!

This was a beautiful place overlooking the airport and water! It was really cool to watch airplanes take off and land from the living room. The host was super nice and very responsive. I’d definitely come back here :)

This place was the perfect spot for my bachelorette party. I have truly not had a more perfect Airbnb stay than this one! The house felt so private and secluded so we felt very safe in the gated property. The management team was the best I’ve ever seen (and I love luxurious spots and I work in hospitality.) it was truly 5/5 stars. They were immediately responsive, they fixed any issues immediately and they were very generous with their time and amenities. This is the perfect house. Only note I would have is maybe there should be more towels available for guests - we were a little limited on towels. Thank you!!!!!

had a great time at janet’s place. the house was clean and perfect for the girls trip i was on. we did however keep hearing a beeping sound from being “too loud” so be mindful of that if you plan to stay here. other than that i have no complains!

Liam’s house was amazing and accommodated our group so well. We are very happy with everything and he was very communicative.

My wife and I spent the weekend here with our dogs and absolutely loved it. The cabin is beautiful, with stunning views and visits from local wildlife that made the experience even more special. It was clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind in nature. Plus, our pups gave it two paws up!

This is one of those true gems you’re absolutely stoked to stumble upon. The minute we drove down the country lane and saw the house, my wife and I knew we had found a truly magical getaway. We both agree it’s one of the top three homes/properties we’ve had the pleasure of experiencing! Every square inch of the property is amazing. The house is beautiful. The kitchen is stocked and perfect for those who enjoy cooking. We cooked three of the four nights because we just loved the atmosphere and views so much! Our four year old absolutely loved exploring the trails, pond and backyard. The hot tub was in perfect condition. Rare! The awesome fire-pit on the balcony was perfect for making smores and staying warm while listening to the frogs sing while stargazing. We played games, watched movies and just had a perfect long weekend. The worst part was having to say goodbye! It was so peaceful, it’s going to be hard to beat such a good nights rest. Another week would have been nice!

Lydia was a very responsive host and was really easy to communicate with. We were a little skeptical because we knew we would be staying on the property where she lived with her family and were worried about privacy but the cabin is very private and although we naturally bumped into Lydia and her husband a few times, they did not spend any time out their back yard (where the cabin is located) for the duration of our stay so we had the place and the yard pretty much to ourselves which was great. We didn't realize how far away we would be from shops and restaurants. It is about a 20 minute walk to the nearby town so we did spend a lot of money on ubers but that was our own fault for not doing our research beforehand. Overall Lydias place is very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, she even had some stuff in the fridge and cleaning products which was really convenient. Thank you Lydia for a lovely stay.

An unforgettable stay — highly recommend! We had such a wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and felt cozy yet spacious. Every detail—from the comfortable bedding and well-stocked kitchen to the thoughtful touches like fresh towels, coffee, and made us feel completely at home. The location was perfect—peaceful and private, breathtaking mountain view from the pool. We especially how quiet the neighborhood was. Our host Posh was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful, making check-in and communication smooth and stress-free. It’s clear they truly care about their guests’ comfort and experience. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it whole.

The cabin was INCREDIBLE! Really appreciated the top not appliances as well as the incredible attention to detail in keeping the house an amazing rental property. Also appreciated how quickly the host responded to a few asks of mine, makes the difference!

My wife and I spent our anniversary at this lovely tree house cabin. We had wonderful weather which really made all of the exceptional views pop. The home was immaculate upon our arrival with a greeting card and lighted ambiance. The trails (3) on the property are fun to walk through. Everything we could have possibly needed was already awaiting us. The deck and bridge are absolutely amazing, and the privacy is everything we had hoped for. It felt like we were the only cabin there. The drive to the lake is so close, and in the pictures the lake appears further than it really is. The hot tub was great as well as relaxing and if we had a question, both Rick or Maria would respond immediately. The drive into town was easy and the steps on both sides of the cabin will keep you in shape. They have storage should you need it for extra luggage as the room is small, so keep it as open as you can. We highly recommend this beautiful cabin nestled on the mountain, and Rick is a wonderful host!

We absolutely loves the enchanted look out! We will definitely be re booking for our San Diego trip next year ❤️

Really, really fantastic house!! So happy I stumbled across this looking for a last minute vacation. I think this place is usually booked up (and I understand why) because it's so private and lovely. My partner and I went from Wednesday night to Friday morning - check in was the easiest and fastest we've had in a while, and the place looks exactly like the pictures/even better!! The hot tub was an amazing touch, the beds were comfortable, and the fireplace in the bathroom was something I had never experienced, and is now something I want/need in our own place. Thank you so much for an amazing get away!!
