Contemporary 3 Bedroom 2bath Country Living

ErikaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We were in the area for a wedding. Sandra's place was one of the better places I found. It was clean and in a great location not far off of the highway and close to our venue. I wish that we had packed a cooler of food as there is not a grocery store in the area so we had to eat out which was pretty limited, but we made it work. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of throw blankets for lounging on the couch since it poured rain the entire time we were there. We would recommend this as a great place to stay if you're in the area. Just remember you are VERY remote, so pack food, not just snacks (the Chevron has plenty of those)
A hot tub with a protective cover is situated on a spacious deck, overlooking a serene lake surrounded by greenery and distant hills. Large trees frame the view, creating a relaxing outdoor atmosphere.

Jason's property was just as described, and he could not have been a more communicative, accommodating, and thoughtful host! We would definitely stay here again! Thanks, Jason!

McKenzie River Getaway w/Mountain Views

LydiaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Beautiful home for a larger family gathering! Plenty of room inside to spread out, as well as a huge, fully stocked kitchen. We loved the outdoor living area, the hot tub, the yard, and playing cornhole. This property, and the entire area, felt extremely safe and very peaceful. Perfect place to prepare and recover from competing in the Track and Field Olympic Trials in Eugene.
A wooden cabin is nestled among tall trees, showcasing a natural setting surrounded by greenery. Large windows provide views of the forest. A gravel path leads to the entrance, enhancing the cabin's connection to the tranquil outdoor environment.

Horse Creek Old Growth Sanctuary

What a place! The best part of the stay was being in such a serene setting. The cabin did the job. The outdoor showers overlooking the river were amazing, and we enjoyed the sauna too. As others mentioned, our cell provider doesn't cover the area, and we could only get wifi from Steve's home if we held the phone in particular spots (or walked 50 feet toward his house). This was actually a big plus, as it helped everyone in our group set down the phones, unplug, and be present in nature. Loved it!
A modern fire table is positioned in the foreground, with flames dancing above colorful pebbles. Large windows frame the view of greenery outside, allowing natural light to fill the space. A wooden bar area is visible in the background, enhancing the inviting setting.

2024 Beaver - Duck Escape

JenniferRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Craig was great about communication from the start. There were goodies & wine to welcome us. Craig's kitchen & fridge were well stocked with all the basic ingredients/tools for cooking meals. The home was spacious & comfortable with plenty of space for groups to gather, and also for everyone to find a quiet spot to get away, if needed. There were two minor inconveniences, there is no dishwasher, and both bathrooms are located on one end of the main floor, so if you stay in one of the two downstairs bedrooms, you have to walk the length of the house twice to get upstairs to the bathroom, but otherwise, the home layout is good. Beds were comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. There are multiple grocery stores within a 5 min drive, and it's a 10-15 min drive to the reservoir for swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, and boating. We stayed here to attend the Oregon Jamboree, and it was a perfect location to walk to the concert through Sankey Park.

Lost Creek Guesthouse near Hot Springs, Hoodoo

Liz & Corey’s place is a magical get-a-way. This was the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The McKenzie bridge area is beautiful and their property also fits that description, with the adjacent creek and majestic moss-covered fir trees. Everything we could have needed was provided. My wife and I were Airbnb hosts for a couple years and maintained a five -star rating. I only regret Airbnb’s rating system doesn’t allow me to award Liz and Corey a sixth star!

This is a fantastic house. Four great bedrooms and great spaces. It was perfect location for what we needed at Lowell State park. The chocolates and wine were a lovely touch.

Delightful Country Stay with a Great Scenic View.

MatthewRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Located right off the road next to the owner’s house. Still felt reasonably private. Dean and his wife were extremely accommodating and had great advice on local walks and natural areas. If you don’t mind the 20 minute drive to Eugene, this is a great option for trips there. Staying in a deluxe trailer was a novel experience for us. Beds were very comfortable. Hot drinks and instant oats were appreciated. We enjoyed it.
