Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Rabun County

We rented for our son's wedding in Clayton. The place was fabulous - lovely, quiet, everything we needed. The covered porch and views were the absolute best! Host was extremely responsive, super helpful, and very accommodating! We would highly recommend!

Very clean, well thought out with kids games, arcades, double bunk beds and a separate space for entertainment. We loved the location and neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. 5 minutes to downtown shopping and restaurants. Clayton is a great town. Our family of 6 will be back.

We loved our stay at the cabin. We could easily walk to the downtown area. The hot tub and fire pit were both nice amenities to use outside. It was so close to downtown yet secluded and peaceful. Fully equipped kitchen with all the necessities. Very comfortable beds. The host has curated such an inviting and beautifully decorated cabin. Heather was also very easy to communicate with and responded quickly.

This is one of thee absolutely most beautiful places I’ve ever had the pleasure of resting my head. The listing photos do not do this beautiful home and view justice. We all gasped the moment we walked through the door. My children LOVED the gaming room. This was the best Christmas getaway and we really enjoyed the few things open in Clayton and the scenic hiking trails and waterfalls. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and we look forward to staying here in the future. Alan was extremely responsive and kind enough to allow for an early check in and extremely responsive. Tanya’s place was so beautiful and peaceful. I’m so grateful I booked it. The shower was unique and the bed was super comfy!! She was very communicative and I would love to come back again!!

We love Azelea place. Our fur babies love it too. June is a great host. Always Available for questions. Even if they’re crazy questions. We have visited the Clayton area several times in the last 5-6 years. By far the best place. Hope to be back soon

Great place to stay if you want to get away. Quiet and peaceful. During the day listen to the birds and river flowing while sitting on the front porch reading a good book. At night watch the fire flies dace around the tress. Loved spending time in my hammock watching the river and the day drifting away. Had a great time unwinding.Will definitely repeat.

We loved our stay in Clayton. The place is in a great central location right by all the restaurants and shops as well as Lake Rabun, Lake Burton, Tallulah Gorge, and Black Rock Mountain State Park, and tons of hikes and water falls are all a short drive away. We fell in love with the area. The location allows you to pack a lot in to each day - and we did so with a baby, so others could probably do even more. The place also has a lot of games, amenities, and cool antiques on the inside to look at. Terry was also very responsive and helpful. All of his instructions were clear and he had a amazing recommendations of places to visit on his guide.

We had a great experience at Ross’s place! The apartment was extremely clean and well taken care of. It is within walkable distance to downtown Dahlonega, which made for getting something to eat or stopping for coffee very convenient. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend!

Very unique place with more fresh eggs than you can eat and take home. Steve meets you when you arrive which nice to meet the host who is full of information and recommendations. We felt very much at home there. The location is central to the most beautiful water falls and hiking trails in North Georgia. I think we could live there. Can't wait to go back.

For being in this part of Oconee County, William & Lori's house was just perfect. I had various tasks that I needed to accomplish and couldn't have found a better place in which to stay. If I need to go back, I will definitely check William & Lori's availability first!

If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in a peaceful location close to downtown Franklin, look no further! Up a quaint, winding road, nestled in the trees is a wonderful two bedroom ground level apartment waiting just for you. Once you arrive you will be warmly greeted by your hosts Dave, Barb & Beans who are always available but never intrusive. Their view is wonderful! The property exactly as described. You Can’t ask for more! And I can’t wait to go back!

By far the best airbnb host we’ve ever had super fast to respond to questions and the accommodations were better than described. Beds were absolutely marvelous woke up every morning feeling better than new. This airbnb is a nature lovers dream. Highly recommend Sandy and the unit

Stayed at Judy's country restaurant, it was great! she was very responsive and friendly, super accommodating with check in. Her and her husband told us all about the local waterfalls, 10/10 would definitely recommend if looking for a nice quiet place in the mountains!

If you want peace and quiet, this is the place to come to in the north Georgia mountains of Sky Valley. Beautiful views especially at sunset, hearing the chapel bells ringing, watching the humming birds fly around during the day and at night the bats, and friendly neighbors. The unit was roomy and comfortable. There were a few light bulbs burned out upon arrival and our host was very responsive and a maintenance gentleman was there soon to replace them. Lots of local activities and great restaurants in nearby Highlands and Franklin, NC and Clayton, GA. For walkers the Sky Valley golf course closes at 7 p.m. and it's great walking or jogging around the beautiful course.

Jennifer was a great host and her condo was perfectly situated in Sky Valley. It looked recently remodeled and the entire condo was spotless. The tub and bathroom was so clean, as well as the bedding, living room, kitchen, you name it. We loved our stay here and loved that it was quiet & peaceful, but not totally secluded. My husband and I felt really comfortable in the condo and enjoyed our time overall there. We didn’t super LOVE the sleep we got on the bed, but we prefer softer mattresses and sleeping on a king size bed, so I think that contributed to it. It felt like a great quality mattress though and I think others would love it. Loved this condo & I would stay here again if I get the opportunity!

This place was even better than it looked in the pictures. Super clean, lots of light, and nicely decorated. Absolutely loved our stay and if we ever find ourselves in Clayton again we would book here without a doubt!

The condo was great! Clean, neat with everything needed! My only suggestion is when sending info the building and unit number could be in a better location in the email. Easier to see! The location of the condo was beautiful! The screened porch was great! Wish we could have stayed longer! Residents were very friendly! Quiet and so peaceful!

We loved the home! It had everything we needed. Even though we didn’t cook during our stay, the kitchen was very well supplied, with oils, seasonings etc. the beds were very comfortable! This home was only a few miles away from town and some great restaurants! My only 2 suggestions would be to leave instructions for operating the tvs. We never could get tv in queen room to work with the Wi-Fi. 2nd suggestion would be to get a new lock box it was very frustrating trying to open it, took us several attempts, appeared to be jammed! We throughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home!

We had a great stay! The resort is gorgeous especially with the fall colors peaking. We enjoyed the view from the deck, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. We also loved that just right down the road there was an awesome waterfall and hiking trail! We would definitely stay here again!
