The best of both worlds, close to the city of Hamburg & Norderstedt and yet in the countryside in the middle of the meadow and surrounded by horses. Overlooking the meadows and the riding stable, the garden invites you to relax, the grill calls for a barbecue and the fireplace ensures cozy evenings. The wooden house is quite flexible and there are 2 additional sleeping places (e.g. for older children) in the alcove upstairs.

For shopping, we recommend the Hanseatic city of Hamburg (about 45 minutes by car) or the cozy cities of Stade (20 minutes) and Buxtehude (12 minutes). For those who enjoy green spaces and quiet areas, this place is excellent! It was all better than I expected. There are 4 supermarkets within a 20-30 minute walk. There‘s a bus stop half a block away and a major tram stop to downtown Hamburg a 20 minute walk away. 35 minutes to the city center. There‘s a huge park with tons of nice paths to walk just down the street. Plenty of dishes and a large dishwasher. The shower is small but the water pressure is great! We didn’t use the washer but it was nice to have just in case. The couch and beds were comfortable. All in all, it was one of my favorite Airbnb stays. The hosts were wonderful too. Highly recommend.

Quaint hut on the edge of the forest. Where the fox and rabbit say good night. We had visits from rabbits, deer and views of the sheep pasture, horse paddock Exactly as we imagined it. The cabin is simple but conveniently furnished. We enjoyed it very much, the weather played along, so perfect.

The apartment is small but nice, for our purposes it was great. It is modernly decorated and was clean! Super nice host, although we didn't meet in person. But the handover of the keys was super easy. And we got a few tips both for the apartment and for the area. We needed about 30 minutes by car to get to Hamburg City.
