THE HOUSE AT THE END OF THE WORLD. No, not quite, but nicely away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our holiday property (house with 2 apartments with separate entrances) is located on the outskirts of Benneckenstein, directly on the Rappbode. 4500 sqm of land also invite you to campfire, camping and in winter to toboggan on your own toboggan slope. The house is only a vacation property. So it has no permanent tenants. Since dogs are allowed in both apartments, we ask you to be considerate of each other.

Sit back and relax – in this quiet, stylish accommodation with its own garden, sauna and hot tub and direct access to the hiking trails in the beautiful Harz Mountains. The colorful city of Wernigerode with its cultural and culinary offerings and the beautiful half-timbered houses is within walking distance (about 10 to 15 minutes). Our vacation home was completed in the summer of 2025 and offers every comfort (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, underfloor heating, fireplace, open kitchen/dining area).

Lehne dich zurück und entspanne dich – in dieser ruhigen, stilvollen Unterkunft. Frisch renoviert und komplett neu eingerichtet lädt die "Haselnuss" zum Verweilen ein. Für Euren Urlaub - wenn nötig mit Schreibtischarbeit - super geeignet. Unser denkmalgeschütztes Fachwerkhaus wurde vor über 200 Jahren erbaut und ist frisch renoviert. Die "Haselnuss" liegt im EG des Hauses und ist ca. 50qm groß. Der große Garten ermöglicht es Kraft zu tanken oder sich auszutoben. Direkter Zugang zur Terrasse.

Gänsetrappe - Vacation in a monument

Immerse yourself in a world of the past. The Gänsetrappe is a 335-year-old individual monument in the old town of Ballenstedt. The house is detached on the approximately 1000 square meter property at the end of a dead end road. The originality has been preserved as much as possible and carefully combined with the contemporary requirements of a cozy vacation home. Family-friendly apartment in Thale Harz

New on the farm: seating for guests! My place is close to the train station, and the city center is also easy to get to. Still, it's very quiet. The apartment is particularly suitable for families with children, of course also for couples and business travelers. In addition to the apartment, we have a large property which can be used by arrangement. A car parking space is available in the courtyard under the carport (narrow access). Pets are not allowed!!

From the property, many beautiful sights can be visited, such as the nearby towns of Braunlage, Goslar, Bad Lauterberg or St. Andreasberg.

Despite its central location, you will stay in a quiet area on a small cul-de-sac with no traffic. The small, charming garden in the courtyard, with seating and a barbecue, is available to all guests. A garage directly at the house can be booked for an additional €10 per night.
