The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

A romantic getaway as well for a cozy evening by the stove in winter or on a sunny terrace in summer. The rustic and minimalist aspects are also highlighted: dry toilets, reduced surfaces and layouts but executed with taste and simplicity.

However, it is not mechanically heated. It is really usable at the end of May and beginning of June depending on the weather for the more cautious. Large play and leisure areas are at your disposal.
