Monthly Rentals in Purple Beach

This place is like a time capsule 100 years back. Set right on the beach, amazing property with great views of the sea. Would definitely stay here again. Only problem was that WiFi was not working as internet lines were down and our phone reception was minimal too, so we had hard time connecting with friends/family or even things like streaming music and planning our trips to surrounding towns. The host is great and very responsive.

Villa Calaverde is a beautiful house in a small gated collection of four properties with a private track that leads to an amazing, small sandy public beach surrounded by spectacular rocks. We were met by Sara's father Pierre who showed us round the house, the gardens (of which there are plenty) and even down to the beach despite it being past 10pm when we arrived. We can safely say this is the best Airbnb I have stayed in. Spacious, well equipped and it definitely felt like home for the nine nights we were there. Going for an early morning (7am) dip in the sea when it was beautifully still and quiet was just something else. Monopoli was 15 minutes drive where there are many restaurants etc to enjoy and other towns and sights are easily accessible. Sara's communication was brilliant throughout, thank you for your hospitality.

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was absolutely beautiful, brand new, spotless, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Everything worked perfectly. Anna was a wonderful host – she gave us plenty of helpful recommendations and was always ready to assist if we needed anything. We truly appreciated her kindness and hospitality. We felt very welcome and completely at home. Highly recommended!

We found the place very easily , met by a smiling Annalisa who showed us into the 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment with nice verandas that we loved and some ocean views. A quiet neighbourhood with Eurospin grocery store 5 mins walk & other shops nearby with Monopoli so close by to drive and park for great dinners, tourist walls, historic sites and lovely Italian lifestyle.. We had our grandson and he loved playing indoors , it was quiet, clean and felt like home away from home ..Air conditioned, small tv in each bedroom , comfy kitchen and working fridge & freezer for my medication - a big thank you to Annalisa for all her help and responsiveness A great place to stay and relax after lovely drives around Puglia , highly recommend you visit MoMo restaurant at Savelletri where Antonio served up spectacular seafood, we went twice & MiCasa for dinner inside Monopoli old town near the arched door ! I missed my pillow but I am particular about that !
