Vacation rentals with beach access in Punta del Faro

The apartment exceeded my expectations and I think it is very good value. I especially appreciated how charming, large and spacious the apartment feels. High ceilings make the apartment feel bright and spacious. The location of the apartment is superb, not only very close to the beach, but also close to a supermarket, cafes, a patisserie, and specialty fish shop. Agatha provides details about all of these local gems upon arrival. The apartment is in the seaside town of Letojanni, a very short distance from Taormina. By staying in Letojanni, I think I benefit from a more peaceful, relaxing stay, while still easily reaching Taormina for sightseeing. Agatha is a superb host in every way. Timely communication via the AirBnB app, a very kind in person greeting upon arrival and departure made me feel welcomed and at home. The local recommendations were perfect. Thank you Agatha for helping to make my visit to Letojanni so memorable!

Sehr schöne, gepflegte Wohnung nahe am Strand. Über einen Fußweg erreicht man innerhalb von 5 min zahlreiche gute Restaurants und einen kleinen Supermarkt. Die Ausstattung mit Klimaanlagen, Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine ist sehr gut. Der Privatparkplatz passt gut für die typischen italienischen Kleinwagen.

Marco and his parent were the sweetest hosts. We where traveling with our two small children and they where so considerate, finding useful stuff, toys, beach towels, highchair etc. The apartment is even more beautiful in reality. Everyday we woke up to the sunrise. Unfortunately the gas went out, and the dishwasher broke while we were there. Things that sometimes happen. But the way the family helped us and responded so quickly to our needs was amazing. Useful things to know: the public transport with bus is very unpredictable. There is a noisy street right in front of the building, but the sound of the ocean is higher, so you won’t hear it that much. The apartment is located in the best part and more local restaurants are nearby. To walk to the train station from the apartment is very uncomfortable, without sidewalks on some of the road.

Excellent condo, very clean, well appointed, beautiful views, and comfortable with split AC units in living area and both bedrooms to keep cool at night. Very close walk to Isola Bella beach area. Close walk to funicular that takes you up to Taormina town, and restaurants are also a close walk way. Note that funicular costs $6 per person one way up to the town, and $10 roundtrip...a bit pricey for such a short ride. It is a relatively easy walk down the mountain from Taormina back to the beach area and condo though, so recommend doing that and getting a little exercise on the way down. Walkway drops you right near the condo. Parking is easy in the gated condo community, so car is in a safe area. Would definitely recommend this place for your stay in Taormina.

Eine tolle Ferienwohnung mit 3 Schlafzimmern (2x Doppelbett, 1x 2 Einzelbetten z.B. für Kinder) und Balkon mit Meerblick(!) in Giardini Garden, nahe Taormina. In Strandlage mit vielen Restaurants an der Uferstraße. Natürlich hört man auch mal die Autos und hupende Mopeds, aber insgesamt ist es relativ ruhig.

My partner and I are traveling for two months (while working) and it's been our best experience with Airbnb. We've never had such a lovely host. He gave us clear instructions for check-in, but welcomed us in person and showed us the best places to eat and tips for getting around the city. I was ill and, not only wrote to ask if I had got better, but also helped me buy medication. The house was far from the noise and movement of the center, which we loved, but we were still very close and went out to eat in the city - which is gorgeous, we left completely in love. We spent the morning on the beach, worked from the apartment in the afternoon and went out for a walk in the evening. We want to have the opportunity to go back on vacation and enjoy the city more. Thank you for hosting us, Pasquale. You were sensational and we loved your space.

Perfecte uitvalsbasis om vanuit Mazzeo uitstapjes te maken naar Taormina en andere dorpjes. Dit kan zowel met de auto als met het openbaar vervoer. Het is zalig om na een drukke en goedgevulde dag aan te komen in het rustige Mazzeo. Het grote terras is een absolute meerwaarde. Leuke restaurantjes, winkels en strandbars aanwezig zonder dat het te druk is. We moesten even zoeken naar de juiste locatie maar de ontvangst van Marcella was perfect en zeer vriendelijk. Kortom, een aanrader als je in de buurt bent.

La casa di Salvo è carina e perfetta per un viaggio di coppia o una piccola famiglia, grazie alla camera da letto e al divano letto nella sala da pranzo. Il terrazzo attrezzato con cucina è sicuramente un plus, anche se purtroppo non abbiamo potuto utilizzarlo a causa del meteo poco favorevole. Torneremo sicuramente in un’altra occasione, perché Letojanni nei mesi più caldi ha davvero tanto da offrire. Gli unici consigli che ci sentiamo di dare sono di regolare lo scaldabagno/caldaia per avere l’acqua un po’ più calda e sostituire i punti luce con qualcosa di più potente, così da avere un’illuminazione migliore. Nel complesso, l’appartamento è perfetto per una vacanza a Letojanni. Il vero plus è stata la mamma di Salvo, che è passata a salutarci portandoci dei dolci buonissimi!😋

Great location and really nice terrace. Very well equipped apartment, from beach umbrellas to washing machine, dishwasher and kitchen gear. Hosts were really nice and responsive. Would stay again! Hope to come back soon.

Obere Wohnung in wunderbarem 2-Whg.-Haus in ruhiger Lage, sehr schön und vorausschauend mit allem eingerichtet, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Frühstück auf dem Balkon mit tollem Blick auf das nahe Meer, Schlafen mit sanftem Meeresrauschen, herrlich. Zugang zu Pools und Meer über einen kleinen, schönen Garten. Gastgeber Daniele hilfsbereit, zuverlässig, sehr freundlich, sein Deutsch ist perfekt, gute Tipps. Ort Giardini Naxos sehr lebhaft, Vor-oder Nachsaison empfehlenswert. Geführte Tour zum Ätna lohnt sich, unser Guide Denny (Sicily-Adventure) Extra-Klasse, weil er viel wusste und witzig war. Außerdem gut organisiert. Tipp: man kann alle Ziele gut mit dem Bus (Fahrer sind nervenstarke Künstler) erreichen!!! Castelmola ein Muss. Vom Flughafen Catania übrigens auch problemloser Bustransfer. Mietwagen kann man sich eigentlich sparen! Zu guter Letzt: Italiener/innen sehr freundliche Leute! Und Autofahren können sie sehr gut, auch wenn man es als Deutscher kaum glaubt…

Lele is an excellent hostess. The place matches the description perfectly. She has thoughtfully prepared a detailed instruction book with all the information we might need. Additionally, she provided us with plenty of helpful parking tips.

Salvatore est au top, il nous a très bien accueilli, il nous a recommandé les restaurants à proximité ainsi que les plages et les points de vue, le logement est impeccable petite résidence calme avec piscine et bain de soleil. Franchement impeccable je suis vraiment satisfait. Merci encore à bientôt !

Eine einfache aber wunderschöne Villa mit viel Platz, mehreren Terassen und einem wunderschönen und unverbautem Blick auf das Meer. Von dort kann man zu Fuß oder auch mit dem Auto die Gegend erkunden und man kann jeden Tag etwas neues entdecken. Sei es das Castello, den Capo Milazzo oder das alte und neue Zentrum der Stadt. Das Haus ist einfach eingerichtet, nicht auf dem neuesten Stand, aber auch das hat seinen Charme. Ja, es gibt keine richtigen Duschen oder eine Klimaanlage, aber das wurde durch die Aussicht, den großzügigen Garten und vieles mehr wieder wettgemacht. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich noch Alessandra und ihre Familie. Superfreundlich, hilfsbereit und reagieren total nett und zeitnah auf Anfragen. Vielen Dank für 2 tolle Wochen auf Sizilien.

Ci siamo trovati benissimo in questa residenza, tranquillità assoluta. Piscina e giardino sempre puliti e tenuti in ordine. Staff e manutentore sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi imprevisto. Valore aggiunto la spiaggia privata raggiungibile con 400 gradini. Fattibili anche da mia figlia di 3 anni. Ci rivedremo di sicuro!

Leonardo e la sua compagna sono persone gentili e disponibili, sempre reperibili. L'appartamento, con riguardo all'organizzazione degli spazi e alla sua posizione, è risultato molto comodo ed in linea con le nostre esigenze. Torneremo sicuramente.

In Antonios Wohnung hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohl gefühlt. Sie war sauber und es war alles vorhanden, was wir brauchten. Die Wohnung ist sehr modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist super zentral am Beginn der langen Strandpromenade mit Blick aufs Meer und Sizilien.👍Die Fußgängerzone und der Hafen sind auch nur wenige Meter entfernt. Verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ganz in der Nähe. Einziger kleiner Nachteil ist die sehr befahrene Straße vor dem Haus. Das ist besonders nachts etwas störend. Antonio war ein sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Gastgeber. Unsere Fragen wurden prompt beantwortet, er gab nützliche Tipps und Vorschläge für Unternehmungen, Restaurants und Eisbars. Für die Rückfahrt zum Flughafen hat er uns sogar ein Taxi gebucht. Danke, Antonio, für den angenehmen Aufenthalt! Wir kommen gern wieder.

Um zum Zentrum oder zum Strand zu gelangen oder am Abend zurück muss men viele Stufen gehen ( oder man nutzt den Bus). Aber genau das macht den Reiz aus. Die Wohnung liegt auch im Haus ganz oben und das ist schön.

Domenica und ihr Mann sind tolle Gastgeber, immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub dort und können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir hatten einfach eine tolle Zeit. Die Riesengroße Terasse war ein super Plus, mit atemberaubender Aussicht auf das Meer und tollem Sonnenaufgang 🌞

Appartement très agréable. Refait à neuf. A 2 pas de la plage et surtout de l'arrêt de bus (rotation toutes les 15 mn environ) ce qui permet d'accéder à Lipari rapidement et de là partout sur l'ile ou sur les autres iles. Lorenza est très accueillante et très réactive. Je recommande vivement.

En regardant les photos puis l’appartement, celui-ci est beaucoup plus grand que je le percevais sur les photos. L’appartement est bien éclairé et la terrasse (qui à une vue sur la mer et sur la ville) avait une chaise longue où il faisait bon se détendre. L’appartement est tranquille, le lit très grand et très confortable. Nous avons eu besoin d’un peu de chauffage et le système fonctionnait très bien. Les commodités annoncées étaient toutes disponibles. L’appartement est impeccable, propre, bien décoré et Lucia y a mis de belles touches personnelles en plus de nous réserver un petit souvenir de notre séjour. Lucia a répondu à toutes nos questions et cela s’est fait très rapidement et avec une grande courtoisie. Merci Lucia, je n’hésiterai pas à recommander ton appartement à des amis, merci pour tout et je garde un très beau souvenir de ta magnifique terrasse.

A great spot for a family, great views over the coast and can see the mainland on a clear day. Higher up in the town so easy to get around and see the sights without a climb or lift. Mornings and evenings stunning and easy to good restaurants and shops for bits that are needed. All in all… just what we hoped for and needed. Comfy beds, aircon and chairs. Very good spot.

L'appartamento è posizionato nel tratto migliore del lungomare, è ben strutturato, organizzato e accessoriato come una casa in cui vivere tutto l'anno. Siamo stati accolti benissimo da Giovanni e dalla sua famiglia, sempre attenti a soddisfare le richieste e a fornirci utili consigli sul soggiorno. Abbiamo apprezzato Brancaleone, un borgo molto tranquillo con un mare splendido e un sito archeologico ("Brancaleone vetus") che è consigliabile visitare, insieme alla dimora di confino di Cesare Pavese e al centro recupero delle tartarughe marine. Per il resto, è possibile ampliare l'esplorazione al centro storico di Bova, all'incantevole Gerace, alla spiaggia delle piscine naturali ad Africo (dove il consiglio è quello di munirsi di maschera per godere della splendida visione dei fondali), e spingersi fino a Siderno per trovare un lungomare più organizzato. Siti che aiutano a scoprire una Calabria inedita ricca di meraviglie naturali. Grazie per l’accoglienza :)
