Apartment vacation rentals in Punta del Faro

I can't help but say that we were able to have the perfect vacation in the accommodation. The grounds are fantastically beautiful, as is the view from the balcony every morning. The hospitality of the hostess and the contact person for German guests allowed us to completely switch off & not have to worry about anything. From help with the rental car to surprise aperitifs, everything was included. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit this beautiful area and I am already looking forward to coming back!

Wonderful stay! I took my mom to Sicily for the first time and this was a most ideal place and setting. The service and attention was exceptional and made you feel right at home upon arrival. The room seemed like it was newly renovated with nice modern furnishings and technology and also immaculately clean. Perfect patio view of La Isola Bella. The outdoor pool was clean as well. If you chose not to rent a car you can take a bus which picks you up about halfway down the hill and it takes you to the beach as well as the center of Taormina. I would return here anytime. accommodation located in a city that is a must-see!!!The nearby space makes it easy to park. Intended for people who are alert because the accommodation is within walking distance and with a few large steps, located at the level above the sea, you can access the seaside by going down many stairs. There is an elevator but it was not working. Manuela greeted us on the street so that we could easily find the accommodation and gave us some directions to visit Scilla. Tourist tax is not included in the price, you have to add €2 per person per day. Our stay was only one night and suited this small accommodation very well.

Perfect and very dedicated support from the hostess: always available, friendly and warm, it doesn't get any better. The apartment is clean and bright, with a dream view of the coast and the sea, just great. The kitchen is equipped with everything you can expect in a vacation apartment and what is necessary for the preparation of usual delicacies such as risotto, spaghetti with salads, etc. There is no oven, but good cookware with a 2-burner induction hob - completely sufficient. There are restaurants and an ice cream parlor nearby, and you could also walk to the beach. There are several beaches nearby, all ideal for swimming. Bottom line: We can recommend this accommodation without restriction!!! Thank you again, dear Maria Teresa.

We loved our stay here. It had the most incredible view that we didn’t want to leave. Super easy access to the beach and the cable car into the town centre. Recommend staying here over Taormina as it’s away from the tour groups and craziness so it is really peaceful but easy to get to town for dinner etc. The rooms and kitchen all looked over the ocean, were clean and well maintained. Pietro was an excellent host and made everything simple. Even had a beautiful antipasti platter for us on arrival. Would visit again!

This was an incredible place with a beautiful view. Really perfect and exactly what we were looking for. There was also the added bonus of a concierge, Alessandra, who helped us organize transit to and from the airport, car rental, took a grocery order for us so we’d arrive to a stocked kitchen, and organized tour with a guide for us. Alessandra was excellent and incredibly attentive. She definitely made this a unique and exceptional Airbnb experience that really exemplified hospitality.

Everything was just great! Vittoria was very nice and warm. The view was fantastic – right on the sea. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

A charming apartment in a beautiful & unique town. We were warmly welcomed by Grazia & Pasquale, who were lovely & explained everything we needed to know about the apartment. It is in a great location, with magnificent views of the sea, harbour & castle & walkable to the main beach & excellent restaurants in Chianalea. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay in Scilla & would highly recommend Grazia’s place.

We had a wonderful stay! The picture window and balcony made for an amazing view of the town and ocean! The apartment was well stocked with everything we needed!

An excellent apartment in a friendly and genuine village … We’ve just returned from a superb holiday in the village of Santa Domenica. What a great apartment. Spacious and well equipped, super clean, with a decent balcony and pool with a sun bathing area. No negatives for us at all. Everything we needed food wise was in the village ; a couple of supermarkets, a really good food/bric a brac market on Mondays, a bakery, fishmonger (that serves meals also), cafe/bars, 4/5 restaurants (Il Casale was our favourite). We used Santa Domenica as a base for a few days out to Pizzo and Scilla (both beautiful and, we thought, easily as nice as Tropea. A number of beaches are accessible from Santa Domenica but these involve walks which aren’t always easy when it’s 30+ degrees. And our host ? Teresa was ace. Picked us up from the Railway Station, gave us loads of decent recommendations and responded immediately to any questions we had. A great holiday !

I’m not sure I can sum this up in 1000 words but our stay at Roberto’s was beyond any expectation. Not only was it spotlessly clean, perfectly located and had its own parking, it was a 5 minute walk to the cable car to Taormina town (quick 3-4 min ride). The nearby restaurants were phenomenal especially Bel Assai and Blum. Both walkable within 5 minutes. Roberto as a host is simply the best we’ve ever had. There were multiple snacks and beverages for us upon arrival and everything you could ever want from an Airbnb experience. His charm and care were off the charts. Tanjit, his very strong helper, was available for any questions or inquiries we had as well. All in all it was our favorite stay not only in Sicily but in the course of our 20+ Airbnb’s around the world. To be fair- yes, there are many steps to the property but every single one was worth the experience. If you get the opportunity book it immediately. There’s no place like it in the world.

Literally located in the best area, everything you’d need in the flat, clean with a good host. Such a bargain!

We had a lovely stay at Stefano’s place. Perfect location close to everything and we loved having a drink on the terrace before dinner. Would 100% recommend.

Giovanni's place is a great house with beautiful views of Taormina, the sea and Etna. The location is great and it is very easy to walk all around the center of Taormina and the tourist paths. Still, the house is a little off the busiest parts and relatively quiet. The kitchen has the implements necessary to cook simple meals. The beds are a little on the hard side, but there are blankets and comforters that can be used to soften them a bit. Overall, a great place for those visiting Taormina. Giovanni is a great host and was very patient when the train we were arriving in had technical issues and did not reach Taormina station on time (we had to take a bus from Letojanni, where the train stopped). Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Very nice, very clean, very good equipped and designed apartment. We can absolutely recommend to stay here! Beach, supermarket and good restaurants are available but ideally you have a car.
