Welcome to our beautiful mini-house located on a beach property, a short drive from Preikestolen. The guest house is for two people with a 160 cm bed, parking space just outside the door, wireless internet, smart TV, kitchen with hotplates, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and all kinds of utensils (pots, plates, glasses etc). Bathroom with shower and toilet inside the guest house. Underfloor heating in the bathroom. Wall-mounted panel heater in the main room. The guest house has a private entrance and is separate from the house, only 17 sqm.

Here you have nature and the lake "to yourself". At the same time, the cabin is only a few minutes walk from the shop and ferry dock and only 18 minutes drive from Preikestolen. Private access road and parking right by the cabin. Possibility to rent sauna and boat. Unique fishing opportunities. The cabin is located at the entrance to the Lysefjord. Extra mattress is possible.

In the living room there are 2 sofa beds, space for 4 people. Three bedrooms with a double bed in each room. There is also a baby bed. Welcome to Fjordbris! Here you can get an overnight stay in the scenic area of Dirdal with an unforgettable view. With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. All amenities are available either in the tiny house or in the basement of the shop Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg nearby. In 2023 and 2025, the farm shop was named Norway's best farm shop and is a small attraction in itself. Right next door you will find a sauna that can be booked with equally good views.

We've got several good hikes and interesting sites to recommend! 🙂 Our listing is perfect for two persons. We also welcome families with kids, but are not able to host larger groups. For groups of adults, maximum four persons. For guests from Europe: we've relisted our 120 old Farmhouse in Mandal (30 min. from Kristiansand). Magical place at the lake with a 8000 m2 garden and 120 m beach/shoreline. Perfect for relaxing, boating and fishing. At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

The house is well equipped in all rooms. The house is located only 7 km from the starting point of the Pulpit Rock trail. It is a 5 minutes drive from Jørpeland, wich is the town center in this area. From the house it is a 10 minutes drive to the ferrydock in Forsand, where there is ferry connection to Lysebotn.

Pulpit Rock 10 minutes to parking. Read reviews from past guests. The view is striking, the place is shielded from traffic and noise. Sun until 10:20 pm on the longest days. Sit down for several days and go on great hikes and mountain peaks from the exit door. Five minutes hike away you can go swimming in a river with fresh mountain water. Short distance to Jørpeland city centre (10 min walk, 5 min to drive) with all necessary shops available.
