Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Puddletown

We had a wonderful stay at Lockett Farm! The setting is peaceful and beautifully maintained, with lovely countryside views that made for a really relaxing getaway. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our hosts were warm, welcoming, and easy to communicate with nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel right at home. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of care into making the space feel special.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean upon arrival, bright and comfortable. Quiet at night. Nice views from the living area over the harbor and looking over the town from the large bedroom. As Suzanne had noted in the listing, there is no assigned parking space which could be an issue. We had to pay to park the day of arrival. It’s free after 6pm until 8am. One item we’d suggest adding would be a clothes hanger for drying as the machine didn’t seem to actually dry anything. We’d highly recommend Seagulls restaurant (book in advance). Unassuming place but food was excellent. We also liked Platform for a Sunday roast and Rise for breakfast. The George was decent. If we’re back in West Bay, we’d definitely stay again.

We had a great stay here! Christina was really friendly making us feel right at home. She gave us some local recommendations and allowed us to come and go with zero hassle. The surroundings are stunning and we could have sat by the window all day. Great walking near by. Beach is a drive able day trip too.

Emily and Lukes place was perfect for our overnight stay in Poole before getting the ferry to Jersey. The apartment was beautifully decorated ,clean and well equipped. The fresh milk and biscuits were a welcome surprise. We will definitely recommend their place.

The acommodation was wonderful, exactly what I was looking for and I am happy to have found it. The house was fully equiped, just felt like home. Beautiful, bright and very welcoming, at a short distance from the beach. The hot tube was the highligh for the chilly evening (sadly we messed up the water temperature a bit :D) Jemma is a great, allways responsive and helpful. I will totally book the place again for another getaway. Thank you!!!

Lovely character cottage, spotless and comfortable with quality homeware and furnishings . Easy to park, shops within walking distance if needed. Sam was very helpful and left bowls , towels and sofa covers for my dog 💕

I told my four-year-old we had been invited by 2 queens to stay in their castle—and what queens they were! Such a friendly reception and what a wonderfully whimsical place. The location is fabulous: you can’t see another property, just rolling hills of sheep (the friendliest photobombing sheep I’ve ever come across!), chickens, cows, horses… and the dogs are such a sweet, quiet presence too. Beds are luxurious and the whole house is super cosy with a fab little private garden. A real gem! Would definitely return.

Perfect stay in an idyllic location. Despite being on the Athelhampton House grounds, the cottage is private with ample parking and a lovely outdoor space. The inside of the cottage is lovely too. We had a fantastic stay - would definitely recommend.

It was a total pleasure staying at Gillian and Wayne’s! They were great hosts, always responsive and helpful. The place was spotless and very well presented! Gillian and Wayne also left lots of useful information around the house to make our stay as convenient as possible. The place was filled with plenty of supplies and the hosts even left us cookies and a bottles of Prosecco to enjoy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a peaceful beachside retreat!

If you are hesitating- please don’t! This place is fantastic! We arrived after a week of camping to this beautifully decorated and located house right by the sea- view of the ocean from the bedroom window. The beds were extremely comfortable, huge and luxurious bathroom and attention to detail from Samantha everywhere. We are a family of 5 and Sam accommodated us via a trundle bed but there was also option of travel cot for younger ones. We enjoyed the D Day centre and beach both walkable in minutes but there are also ferry or bus routes to Weymouth. Brilliant communication and a really special stay.

We had a wonderful week at the cottage. The village is lovely and the cottage is so close to the Square and Compass pub. Very comfortable accommodation and the views are amazing. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Strides Barn was a lovely place to stay. Lots of amenities and plenty of board games to keep everyone entertained. Only slight downside was it was very hot inside the cabin and we did not seem to have any control over it.. Other than that it was lovely. Good views, plentiful wildlife and lots of areas to explore a short car drive away.

We’ve absolutely loved our stay – it was such a special few days. I stayed with my two young daughters (3 and 5) while my husband was away, and this place couldn’t have been more perfect. I felt really safe and settled, especially with Amanda, the lovely host, just next door. She was so kind and thoughtful – and even gave my girls a little bear and a suitcase full of outfits for it that had belonged to her daughter, for them to play with – such a sweet touch. Toys, books, and a handwritten welcome note with all the essentials were ready for us on arrival – so appreciated after a long journey. The house is immaculate, cosy, and perfectly set up for families, and the surrounding area is absolutely stunning. We had a brilliant day at Sandbanks beach, just 5 minutes away and not too busy – with easy parking, nearby toilets, and loads of space for the kids to run around. Thank you again, Amanda – we really hope to return soon!

Big house and garden in great location. Very clean and everything in working order, shower very powerful. Perfect location to walk to beach. Kate was very responsive and accommodating.

Cozy little cottage just 5 minutes walk from Chesil Beach with a great balcony with a sea view. Stunning walks nearby on the Isle of Portland including Portland Bill Lighthouse (if you go make sure you pop into the Lobster Pot cafe) - and Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove aren’t far in the car. Abbotsbury also isn’t far with the Swannery and subtropical gardens which are both worth a visit. My husband is 6’3” so struggled with the stairs which are steep and the ceiling in the kitchen is low. King Street is very narrow and the parking space takes some practice but April’s instructions were really helpful - the fact that a neighbour has a transit van and manages it gave me confidence! Within a couple of days it was easy. The bathroom (shower room) is downstairs but there’s another room off the kitchen which we used as a dressing room - really handy to save going up and down the stairs too much. Great little kitchen with everything you need. Upstairs lounge has games and a smart TV.

A lovely couple of nights here. It’s a really beautiful apartment, lovely decor and very clean. We we able to walk to the beach, the town and the ferry port where we got the boat over to Brownsea Island. There’s also a corner shop and Tesco express 5 min walk away!

We had a great stay. The flat was as described and well set up for a toddler. There were even toys to play with.

We had a wonderful time at the harbour hideaway. The property is so cute with lovely nautical furnishings. It is a real gem and amazing to be so close to the harbour and we loved watching the bridge go up and the boats pass. The pull down bed was one of the comfiest sleeps ive ever had! We felt very welcome and the dogs especially as there were so many thoughtful touches for them! The permit parking was extremely helpful and we really appreciated Cates local knowledge and proactive advice on a local event which meant we needed to move our car on our last night but it was no panic thanks to Cate letting us know in advance. Thank you, we hope to come again some day and will tell friends and family

Chris' apartment was a great find. We stayed for a month and booked after our previous arrangements were cancelled. we are delighted with the apartment and the location. The place was clean and bright, very comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It was also beautifully decorated, with lovely touches, great guidebooks and some nice breakfast items for our first morning. Chris is a great host. His guidebook and instructions are invaluable - I would highly recommend anyone to take the time to read them before arriving. He has taken a lot of time and effort into putting the information together and it makes life so much easier and certainly adds to the enjoyment of your stay.

A fantastic, well appointed apartment. Quiet location but so close to the town. Tom was a great host, that anticipated all our requirements. I will definitely stay again.

Beautiful accommodation. But because we are 80 we felt a little isolated as we couldn’t manage to walk from the property, it would be better suited for younger fit guests
