We were looking for a quiet accommodation away from the chaos of the city, it was the right choice! Perfect location to get around on foot; Anna was super helpful and kind to recommend the areas to visit and the trails to walk. We went as a couple from Germany to Marco`s place and stayed there for five days. The communication with the host was really good, on the way we called him and already got some useful advices for the way. After we got there, Marco showed us everything in the place and explained to us the short way to an ecological farm where we got some great food. When we arrived, Marco had put some food into our fridge, so we could take a rest and refresh ourself`s for some walking in the beautiful forrest very close to the house. The surrounding and the house with its garden is very relaxing and great for hiking or sitting on the terrace, where we also cooked our food in the evenings. While we were there, Marco and his wife gave us some good advices for hiking tours. When we left, they helped us to get a good connection to Milan, since we had no car and got there by bus and train.

We were in a double room with a nice bathroom, a small table and a kitchenette. Small but extremely well-kept and equipped with everything you need. We felt right at home.

We had a great time at Cri's who is always available and has very good advice. A really lovely host. The accommodation is very quiet and very charming. The breakfast offered by Cri is delicious and very full. Stresa town center is a 5-minute drive away. It's very well located for visiting the Borromean Islands. In addition, the private parking space right in front of the house is a real plus! We'll be back with pleasure!

The accommodation that Fulvio makes available is a small beautiful apartment on the ground floor of a historic building in the small village of Scopello. It consists of a bedroom, a kitchen, a living room with a sofa bed, and a bathroom. It has been renovated and furnished with great taste, with a style suitable for the context and great attention to detail. The use of wood, carpets, decorative elements and lights makes the environment very warm and welcoming. The house is functional, the kitchen is well-stocked. The entrance and kitchen windows overlook the mountain view, having breakfast while the sun rises from behind the mountains was one of the highlights of our stay! There is also a small outdoor space that allows you to spend pleasant moments outdoors. Fulvio was a very kind and helpful host, ready to solve any needs and provide information about the surroundings. We really felt at home and would definitely come back!

We stayed here for a few days before Easter, in the best weather and already warm temperatures. To find the place, all you have to do is follow the Chiara's instructions, then it's no problem. If you don't feel comfortable with the car on narrow paths, you have to expect about 400-500 m walk, but they are worth it. The apartment itself kept everything it had promised. Our highlights: - Balconies where you could hike with the sun. (One in the east, one in the west to the lake.) - Quiet location. - simple but well equipped kitchen. - Super dear landlords You get a list of shopping and restaurant recommendations. We couldn't try it all, but the one we tried was great. In Pettenasco on the main road opposite the gas station (very cheap when we were there) there is still a nice cafe/bar, which we can also recommend. The garden shop in the south is also worth a visit. We will be happy to come back :-)

We had a wonderful time in Baltera. Marisa and her husband are extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean and you have a beautiful view of the countryside from the balcony, where you can enjoy the tranquility. But you can also quickly get to romantic Orta, a small swimming beach or can do other activities in the surrounding towns. The access road was no problem with our Opel Corsa and you get used to it after the first trip. We felt very comfortable!

The home was very welcoming, clean, and beautifully rustic. The house is in a quiet location with a lovely view of the lake, and the directions we were given allowed to get there with no problem. Also, we were greeted by fresh eggs, juice, sweets, sparkling wine and other gifts at the place, which is very nice and commendable. Any recommendations for this place if you want a quiet and enjoyable vacation, we felt right at home.
