This little place is just off the main area of stresa, which means it is in a quaint little suburb. The house feels just like home with Simona and Enrico leaving some goodies as required. The only thing is that it seemed that there was a little bit of a party at one of the locals houses, which kept my partner up and the church has a bell tower so no need to set an alarm! Otherwise was exactly what we needed!

Pobyt u Matteo okazał się idealnym wyborem. Mieszkanie przestronne,czyste,dobrze wyposażone. Matteo bardzo był pomocny, odpowiadał szybko na nasze wiadomości. Na zewnątrz jest miejsce i całe wyposażenie na grilla i co najważniejsze miejsce parkingowe pod domem. Lokalizacja świetna. Można zwiedzić piękne Lago Maggiore,a do Como tylko 1 h drogi. Polecam z całego serca!

Die Wohnung ist sehr ordentlich und gemütlich eingerichtet und die Dachterrasse mit Blick über die Dächer und auf den Berg wirklich sehr schön! Cami ist ein sehr netter und entgegenkommender Host. Auch bei spontanen Planänderungen unsererseits war sie sehr verständnisvoll und flexibel. Wir kommen gerne (bei besseren Wetter) wieder! :)

We went as a couple from Germany to Marco`s place and stayed there for five days. The communication with the host was really good, on the way we called him and already got some useful advices for the way. After we got there, Marco showed us everything in the place and explained to us the short way to an ecological farm where we got some great food. When we arrived, Marco had put some food into our fridge, so we could take a rest and refresh ourself`s for some walking in the beautiful forrest very close to the house. The surrounding and the house with its garden is very relaxing and great for hiking or sitting on the terrace, where we also cooked our food in the evenings. While we were there, Marco and his wife gave us some good advices for hiking tours. When we left, they helped us to get a good connection to Milan, since we had no car and got there by bus and train.

We came just for a short getaway and this was perfect - even though we had some rainy days still we could find options to go and see nearby. The location of the house is charming and very well manageable by car (of course stick with a compact car, as usual in Italy .. roads can be tricky). Simona greeted us with some groceries prepared so we could have the first morning started with coffee and breakfast, also we got great advice on getting around by foot, explore the nearby little cities. With a smaller kid and two teenagers we could easily find the place comfortable and spent a great few days exploring the nature, driving around for sights and eating a lot -- some of the restaurants in the area are surprisingly good, with the one in the village being a great find itself.

We felt welcome and cared-for at Gloria’s place. We visited in mid April, plenty of easy free parking very close-by. 3 floors upstairs, no elevator. Lovely view from living room and balcony. Spacious, bright, comfortable, so clean. Extra pillows, linens, toiletries. Kitchen with all appliances incl clothes washer. Espresso maker with generous selections of pods, sugar/creme. Refrigerator stocked for us! Eggs, lunch meat, milk, bread, fruit, juice, yogurt, puddings. Pastries and snacks piled on the table. Mid-stay, a grocery bag full of more treats were delivered, all included. Truly generous and amazing. We felt like her guests! Big king bed so comfortable. Plenty hot water, great shower. We didn’t want to leave. Gloria was available by text for any touring questions as well. If this place is available for your vaca, book it now! You won’t be disappointed.

Wir hatten einen richtig tollen Aufenthalt bei Luca in Ameno! Wir waren für eine Woche in der Unterkunft und haben uns direkt wie Zuhause gefühlt, es war sehr schön für uns. Die Landschaft ist einfach atemberaubend , der Garten hat unsere Herzen höher schlagen lassen, überall gab es Ecken zum entspannen. Mit den Fahrrädern konnten wir die Gegend erkunden, Luca gab uns Tipps für die Umgebung. Die Wohnung war perfekt für uns, wobei wir den größten Teil unseres Aufenthalts draußen im Garten verbracht haben. Luca war sehr freundlich und hat uns mit offenen Armen in seinem Zuhause willkommen geheißen. Wir hätten es nicht besser haben können und kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder! Alles in allem perfekt, ich würde gerne mehr als 5 Sterne geben <3

Alloggio molto pulito e ordinato. Abbiamo cenato in casa e in cucina c’è tutto il necessario, compresa qualche piccola coccola. Siamo rimasti colpiti dalla pulizia della cucina e degli elettrodomestici e accessori: è davvero difficile trovare un ambiente così pulito fuori da casa propria. Per quanto riguarda la vista, la posizione è ideale per passare ore e ore a osservare i paesaggi, dalla mattina fino alla notte. Lo spazio esterno è piccolo ma perfetto per fare colazione, gustare un aperitivo al tramonto, leggere, rilassarsi, meditare o praticare attività come il Tai Chi Chuan. Abbiamo soggiornato a novembre, durante un fine settimana di sole.

Paolo è una persona molto simpatica e piacevole, ci ha fornito le giuste indicazioni per arrivare e ci ha accolto all’arrivo spiegandoci la storia di Canova e salutato alla partenza. Canova è uno stupendo piccolo borgo medievale, senza auto (la si lascia al parcheggio all’ingresso), immerso nella natura, calmo e rilassante. Ci siamo spostati in zona tutti i giorni raggiungendo posti meravigliosi ma era sempre un piacere tornare al tramonto in un posto così!

Monica is an amazing host, she’s very communicative and helpful, everyday she made sure we were comfortable and well. The place has an amazing view and it’s located near the city of Stresa when you can buy anything, eat and take a ferry on Lago Maggiore, I’d advise to rent a car because the roads are not built for walking The house is well equipped, we prepared food in the kitchen on daily basis and it didn’t lack anything The evenings where a bit cold and the heating season has not started yet, but Luciano prepared the fireplace every day and made sure we had enough wood :)

Wir haben in Vannis Haus alles tip-top vorgefunden. Das Hunde-ausbruchssicher eingezäunte Grundstück hält, was es verspricht. Der einzige Wermutstropfen betrifft die für Autos länger als 3 m nicht nutzbare Garage, die wir für unseren Oldtimer mit 5 m Länge gerne genutzt hätten. Nichtsdestotrotz sind das Haus und die Umgebung wunderschön.

Het huis is prachtig gedecoreerd met de kunst (mozaïek) van Andrea, naast het feit dat het warme gezinshuis volledig verzorgd is. Overal rond het huis zijn ook mooie terrasjes, een tuin en een patio. Een heerlijk verblijf in een prachtige regio van Italië nabij lago Maggiore in Brenta. Je kunt hier met hulp van Andrea ook zelf met mozaïek aan de slag en kano’en op het meer. Een echte aanrader dus dit prachtige traditionele Italiaanse familiehuis met een heel eigen vrolijk versierd randje!

Nach dem Buchen wurden wir darüber informiert, dass der Whirlpool zum Zeitpunkt unserer Reise nicht funktionieren wird. Doch die sehr liebe Gastgeberin hat wirklich mit ihrer besonders warmherzigen Art und Weise alles gegeben um dies zu kompensieren und uns den Aufenthalt zu versüßen, dafür sind wir sehr dankbar. Generell war die Gegend ruhig, nur der Hund aus der Nachbarschaft war wirklich sehr viel am bellen dafür war das Bett wirklich sehr bequem. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit.

De airbnb is heel mooi en gezellig ingericht, zodat je je gelijk thuisvoelt. De keuken is compleet alles er op en er aan (bijzonder voor een airbnb). Anna liet zelfs een ontbijtje en heerlijke zelfgemaakte pastasaus voor ons achter zodat we niet gelijk bij aankomst naar de winkel hoefden. Parkeren gaat makkelijk in de straat en anders is er verderop een gratis parkeerplek waar altijd plek is. Er is een erg leuk lunchtentje om de hoek en anders heeft Anna een map met allerlei tips voor restaurants en leuke dingen te doen in de omgeving, zoals de botanische tuinen of isola bella. Je hebt wel een auto nodig maar we hoefden nooit meer dan 20 minuutjes te rijden. Zeker een aanrader!

Das Haus von Samueles Familie liegt wunderschön am Berghang oberhalb von Domodossola. Es ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen oder Ausflüge in die Umgebung, z.B mit der Schmalspurbahn in Richtung Locarno oder mit dem Bus direkt zum Lago Maggiore (z. B. nach Verbania). Sehr schön ist auch das Zentrum, insbesondere der alte Marktplatz. Für Bahnreisende ist der Ort sehr gut erreichbar. Vom Bahnhof aus läuft man nur ca. 20 min zur Unterkunft (die letzten Meter geht's bergauf!) Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich mit Antiquitäten eingerichtet. Ich wurde herzlich empfangen und habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt.
